In a world that often feels inundated with noise and discouragement, the idea of "making a difference" can feel out of reach. But kindness doesn't have to be grand to be meaningful.

I wrote "A Little Kindness" to tell the story of one person making a difference. Even if we don't see the harvest of kindness we plant today, a single act can change the entire landscape for another person for years to come. 

Lyrics are shown below.  As you listen to the story unfold, please note that the piano composition includes creative flourishes that may diverge slightly from the lyrical melody.

A Little Kindness

Verse 1:
Cold, broke and all alone,
Without a place that he could call his own.
Tired of the streets and stress,
Looking for lots of rest and a little kindness.

Verse 2:
Time stopped when he looked up,
To see a small hand holding out a cup.
A big smile across her face,
Bringing warmth to a dark, cold place.
Even though she was young and small,
Years later her kindness he recalls.
A simple gift that taught him how much God loves all.

Verse 3:
Morning, he wakes at dawn,
To put a large pot of coffee on.
He opens the shelter up,
And gives it away cup by cup.
He smiles when he thinks that someone young,
Played a role in what he has become.
And now he meets the needs of others one-by-one.

It really isn’t difficult, just find a need,

Desde muy joven, componer música  instrumental al piano ha sido mi pasión y razón de ser.
La familia, los recuerdos de la niñez, la naturaleza, poemas de grandes poetas son mi fuente de inspiración.
Mis referentes son grandes músicos como George Winston, Kostia, Paul Halley, Rodrio Leao o Lito Vitale y grandes grupos como Paul Winter Consort o NightNoise. 
Como músico amateur, compongo porque es mi manera de expresar sentimientos y emociones a través de la música.

From a very young age, composing instrumental piano music has been my passion and reason for being.

Family, childhood memories, nature, and poems by great poets are my sources of inspiration.
My influences include great musicians like George Winston, Kostia, Paul Halley, Rodrigo Leao and Lito Vitale, and great groups like the Paul Winter Consort and NightNoise.
As an amateur musician, I compose because it's my way of expressing feelings and emotions through music.

Bryan Eyberg is a pianist who plays classical and jazz piano music which you can hear here on his Sound Cloud profile.

The Year of Music project began in May 2011  there has been a new musical creation posted each day.  Each new piece is created in real-time.   The project is currently in its 13th year.  To date, there are over 4700 "Daily Doses" in the project.

Richard’s live performances take audiences on a journey away from the busy world and into a calmer, less chaotic mental and emotional environment.  Drawing on his classical training, jazz and pop familiarity, Richard creates music thru an improvisational process.  His music has been called a soothing elixir for the soul, mind and body.

In 2016, composer/contemporary pianist Richard Carr moved to the Monterey Bay area of California after living in his native St. Louis area since 2005.  Richard spent 10 years working as a pianist in the night clubs, hotels and restaurants of the French Quarter of New Orleans prior to Hurricane Katrina.  He has released twenty-fiven solo albums and one collaboration in the contemporary instrumental /new age genre.

Aware of the meditative quality of his music, Richard has been exploring the healing side of his music.  Working in the holistic community of St. Louis, Richard developed the I AM Creative Sessions. These sessions are personal sessions in which Richard creates music for the client’s intention or focus.  In essence, he creates a soundtrack for the intention.
  
Currently Richard's electronic keyboard set-up includes Kurzweil PC3x and PC4x,  StudioLogic Numa 2-88,and the Roland boutique synths JP-08 and JX-03.

The vibrant new titles "Treizeta", "The Third Era" & "Vollenweider" off the freshly released 3rd Studio Album "Yes It's Ananias III: The Commencement of The Third Era" in 2022 have glimpsed couple of sparks of the upcoming new age and sound of YIA... In December 2021, Yes It's Ananias has released a surprise Solo Rhodes Single which is part of the third Saga. "Hot Snowflake Pt. I (Ice-O-Lation)" tells a story of an Utopia in our modern world. Although, the peculiar year of a post-millenium pandemic lead to a one-off performance in september 2020 when the 70's look inspired Swiss Pianist/Improvisationist went on stage for 6:29 min time. He conserved the moment and released his only digital output within 5 years since his well-approven second studio record "Yes It's Ananias II".

It's called "To Venus And Back" and was played on a Electric Piano in the oldest cinema in the country. Nicolas Streichenberg (His real Citizen Name) reveals the inside and puts it to the outer sphere. He toured heavely in the past couple years in search of finding his own signiture in the soundscape and playing by recording live-concerts on tour and release the limited Vinyl-Copies to the audience, re-listening to it and excerp the imprompti from all sections.

In 2018/2019/2021 he was playing/visiting in Sweden, Italy, Spain, France, Denmark, Switzerland and Germany the most honest way: Solo Piano. While gathering an increasing fanbase around Switzerland and Eastern France, he held up the first official PIANO DAY in Zurich. Swiss Radio/Television SRF Kultur portrayed him and his work during their Winter-Campaign #SRFZämeStah. A platform of selected Artists/Actors/Musicians in Switzerland. In the end of 2021 YIA got featured on the swedish shoebrand "Everyday Hero" in their artist/music section "Listen Up". A space for rocknroll spirits and fashionistas who are empowered by the musical taste of the shoedesigner. The filmwork for "Vollenweider" got premiered on their webpage of selective artists worldwide. It took only 6 days until one of most prestigeous Venues in Switzerland "Atlantis", who has been a base for the 60's/70's Rockscene in Basel and today's renowned Jazz/Contemporary Music Temple, was sold out. There are rumours for a new fourth era in 2023

Welcome to my SoundCloud page.  It serves as a jar of sorts, to catch the musical ideas flying around in my head!  My hope is that you find something to listen to that offers encouragement and refreshes your soul.

All music is original with a few exceptions (such as new arrangements of old Christmas songs, etc.).  All music has been composed and performed with absolutely no AI-assistance.  I primarily perform and record on the Yamaha MODX8, with an occasional recording on my older Yamaha Clavinova.  You will also find collaborative works on my page, featuring some other amazing musicians on SoundCloud.
