Hiatus over, Pluie/Noir podcasts are back, this time with a name little name change, in anticipation of a new collaboration with the @ringsofneptune agency managed by both @soundslikenies and @cleymoore. This podcast has been ready for more than a year, but due to the uncertainty of the future of this project, it was put on hiatus for a while. 

At last, we're delighted to welcome Clovis to the series. Clovis's music selection is remarkably timeless and perfect for the last moments of Winter (in the Northern Hemisphere, mind us). An interview is up on Rings of Neptune's official page. Enjoy!

Atmospheric and ethereal techno accompanies some more bouncy tech housy bits as well as some more experimental joints bordering on late 90s IDM sprinkled in for a good blend.

Estimulo started his career on Berlin's pirate radio scene in the late 1980s, and is nowadays one of the most respected underground house DJs in Europe.

With a special focus on Deep, Bleep, Chicago & Italian house sounds, he has released many celebrated mixtapes and podcasts over the years, recently turning heads with his contribution to @melbourne-deepcast & backing it up with his first trip to Australia in early 2023.

Known as a "DJ's DJ" across many realms of classic dance music, I owe my love of Italian House, Bleeps & Breaks, and several other subgenres to this man, and it was an honour to host him for 2 separate events in Brisbane.

The first was at our secret location (pictured), which sadly was not recorded. Then we made last-minute plans for a Thursday night party at this rad West End venue called It's Still A Secret.

Co-founded by Chris I’Anson, Adam Pits & Lisene, On Rotation has become home to a spectrum of forward thinking productions which encapsulate a range of electronic genres. 

Taking inspiration from the outer-cosmic, the inner-self and the digi-natural, the graphic tee takes design cues from the label’s releases while also being heavily influenced by the trio's intoxicating mixing styles.
 
Using fluorescent and metallic inks the graphic tee pops on the dance floor while the three part mix series takes us on a downtempo voyage through each co-founder’s slowed down selections.

Greg is a multi-medium artist based in Bristol, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to self expression. Whilst consistently exploring various realms of his craft, Greg's style and taste resonates deeply with ourselves at Plantera HQ.

Running the inspirational label 'Common Ancestors', and consistently producing insanely emotive music; it was an intuitive decision to ask him to narrate the next Voyage to Plantera.

The mix is centered around those tracks others share with you, the ones you feel so grateful for, and wonder how you would've found otherwise. Maybe it takes your taste in a whole new direction, maybe it opens up an artist's discography that you'd previously overlooked, or it puts you onto a label or scene you've never heard of who deliver the exact sound you're after. Everything in this mix created those moments for me.

Each track was recommended to me by good friend Paul Beynon / Deeper Waters. What started out as me accidentally taking his phone, thinking it was mine, has turned into many evenings spent browsing through his collections and being put onto countless great releases. From bargain bin records where quality far exceeds the price tag, to long lost IDs I'd given up finding, to alternate, cheaper releases of long time wantlist lingerers (ganja mist!). There's a bit of all that in the mix.
