It was on a lazy Tuesday Followed from a boozy Monday
When I poured myself a hot drink To find the cup had gone
It came over my suddenly The feeling of perplexity
And whether I had misplaced My beverage of choice
But as I went to sit down I fell upon my crown
Just found my sedan chair Had just turned into thin air
There's a ghost in my house

So I went to see a vicar  About the problem with my spectre
Cast me from the door saying It's a doctor you need
So I ended up in Arkham With no way to sharpen
My wits they were dampened By the smell of the place
After a while They decided I was fine
So back to my house I went Didn't know what to expect

Can you imagine the surprise When I found the place alive?
Filled with see-through spirits Just wanting me to go
I had disrupt the party And I understood their fury
So as to avoid some ectoplasm I went out into the rain
Sitting on my own I wait until they have flown
And plan a way to keep them From the house I adore
