Here is a fact: Peacocks live in dense, forested areas where they roost in trees and gather together in flocks called “parties.” They seduce with their dance and their distinctive calling voices. In allusion to the mysterious bird, Klassified is corresponding to the peacock’s livelihood. He is associated with the annual new harvest of the white African yam. Among the deities he is considered a close friend of Oosa Ogiyan and Sango as well as at one time husband of Oya and Yemoja. CRISTIAN MONAK, FELIPE GRANDA, MAARLEM and ALVARO VILDOSOLA are paying their respects to Oko with four great original tracks inspired by the Orisha.

Arising Minds

This song is inspired by the Senufo people and their rich music and dance culture. 

The Senufo people are an ethnolinguistic group composed of various subgroups, they live in the middle region of the Volta River of Central Africa that includes parts of Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Mali. The balafon instrument is a symbol of identity for the community - it's music provides the rhythm for their ritual and festive dances.
