"Paradise" (INTERVISION-FF-01)

ATL018 shows you can never get too much of a good thing as Impérieux returns for a third time to enhance his already burgeoning reputation as a discerning producer with a unique and exciting sound.

The intricately crafted ‘Veran’ cuts its way through the night air as crystalline jagged arpeggios jostle for our attention against throbbing bass and an extended pitched down celestial choir loop that adds to the drama. Ringing piano chords give a sense of space and let the music to breath, while still allowing the intensity of ‘Veran’ to reach almost critical levels before a perfectly time drop shakes you out of a daze.

Next we hit a tripped out after-hours vibe courtesy of ‘Patron’ with its gentle nod to expansive french house. Here Impérieux lets his creativity run free as a fusion of textures underpinned by metallic clanging and wooden percussive notes help deliver a real feast for the senses.

As you’ve come to expect, these two tracks have been comprehensively tested across continents from Budapest to Bangalore by ATLANT label boss BOg during his tour of India ... and a bit closer to home in Vienna. This is music without boundaries.

Hailing from Bulgaria, Impérieux started to gain attention and momentum after the release of his first major EP on Paris based imprint ATLANT. His second EP ‘Culture Mess’ [ATL012] served to enhance Impérieux’s growing reputation as an artist with a unique, fresh and exciting sound.
