The Stone Tape EP is the fourth record in Session Victim's Pen & Paper series and sees Matthias Reiling's first solo outing for the vinyl only imprint.

Three original cuts betray Reiling's fascination with the mystic and occult, elevating the listener's perception and sending dancers into a spiritual and physical seance.

Fellow Sorcerer Leafar Legov's coproduction and Erobique's enchanting Melodica on Tarot Nouveau and Ouija Dub add more layers of depth and an extra set of black magic spells to the whole.

On top of that, italian beatsmith Broke One stuns everyone at Pen & Paper with his remix of the title track "Vibrate", boosting the original with an intense rhythm section and finally lighting up it's dark path with warm and hopeful harmonies.

To celebrate their 10th anniversary, London DJ, tastemaker and label collective https://soundcloud.com/slothboogie have curated their first album project, ‘Dancing With Friends’ set for release on 26th June.
SlothBoogie started back in 2010 as a blog run by a group of mates curating house and disco sounds which quickly grew into a highly engaged core community from all over the world. Dance music fans would flock to the site for daily discoveries of the latest edits and long forgotten underground tracks. At its peak the site would regularly hit 10,000 unique visitors a month. Now, some 10 years later, SlothBoogie are one of the most respected underground music collectives in London playing host to beloved parties, a weekly radio show and guest mix series, and running their hotly tipped record label. Dancing With Friends’ is a 17 track exploration of the distinctive and varied SlothBoogie soundscapes, and will be available as a 4 track vinyl sampler, with a mixed and unmixed digital compilation. Limited edition T-shirts will also be available via Everpress.
Covering a wide spectrum of styles, brooding cuts from Levan and Philippa showcase silky smooth deepness, while later, Ninja Tune affiliate Letherette and Kassian hint at the rawness of the UK House aesthetic leading on to Detroit infused textures from Ruff Stuff and the late night jazziness of Soul Wun. A reflection of SlothBoogie’s commitment to curating the best in underground dance music and giving a platform to new artists in the scene, ‘Dancing With Friends’ will open minds to a world of dance music you never knew existed and offer a warm embrace to those who’ve been supporting SlothBoogie throughout their ten year journey.

Felix has been part of the UK's underground dance scene for the last 3 decades, learning his trade DJing at free parties and illegal raves and co-founding his first record label Ugly Music in the 90's.

He's produced records for well renowned record labels worldwide including DFA, Rush Hour, Eskimo, Golf Channel, Claremont 56, Futureboogie and his own labels Cynic and Ugly Music.

He has secured slots at well known clubs and festivals across the globe, and the last few years have seen him receive a lot more attention due to his high profile residencies for Block 9 (Glastonbury) and Croatia’s Love International as well as regular appearances at Houghton, Gottwood and Thailand’s Wonderfruit festival.
