Known for more than 100 shows a year, on the biggest stages, like the SonneMondSterne Festival, Nature One, or Mayday, Felix is known for his musical releases on labels like Terminal M, Filth On Acid, or Suara.

"Reunion" is a musical instance of people being able to come together again on the dancefloor after a long period of separation. Preparations for the 2022 festival season are in full swing and all people can hardly wait to be back on the world's dance floors.

Last year, his releases focused on people coming together again on the dance floors of this world. Felix is about nothing more than sharing the night and the memories with his fans. This year is an absolute highlight as he will host his own "WE ARE THE NIGHT" floor at Nature One. Nature One is one of Germany's biggest electronic festivals, and Felix has been an integral part of the repertoire for years. Hello, my name is Oliver and I'm going to tell you a story.

It's about a young girl...
She's only fifteen years old and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

She lives with her parents in New Jersey and they love her very much;
And one night she and her friends decided they were going to come to New York City.

"My Parents are away and I'll take their car, they will never know!
We're gonna have a great time!" she said.

And they drove over the George Washington Bridge and drove downtown to the Limelight.

"Wow, look at the line!"
"Don't worry I know the guy at the door, we'll get in."
And they did.

"So many people, look at that guy's shoes... they must be a mile high!"
And she turned around and bumped into a really cute guy.

They had a good time, they danced for hours and hours;
and she had a few drinks too!

"Hey", he said, "My roommate's not home and well,
I was wondering if you wanna, you know... come to my place.
I just don't wanna... I just don't wanna be alone." And she said, "Yes!".

So they got into a taxi and went to 3rd Avenue and 11th street to the NYU dorm rooms
And went upstairs and sat on his bed.

And he said, "Take this pill..." And she did.
And then she said, "What did you just give me?"

"Ecstasy." he said. And then...

Do you believe in conincidences?

I don’t - anymore. I used to believe in conincidences but I’ve learned that everything happens for a reason. And that everything in life happens for you, not to you.

So, I have been busying myself with the idea of an remix album of classic tracks of mine for quite some time. But I struggled with the selection of tracks and which remix artist to pair with which track.  Until certain people entered my life. Some of them I only „met“ through their music on social media and never in person, others I met briefly, like in a car to a festival and some I started to hang out with and they became real life friends. All of these people connect with my music and I feel drawn to their music and in many ways we insprire each other.  As a natural result this remix EP took shape and I am excited to present it to you. The record contains four remixes of tracks from my back catalogue that cover a period of 20 (!) years, from my early days on Bush in the mid 90s to my first label Spiel-Zeug Schallplatten in the 00`s up until now, where I run Electric Ballroom from Berlin. 'Free Yourself' is a more melodic peak time affair while 'Shadows' is more on a progressive tip.'Territory' is a bassline driven musical track that gets great reactions in clubs and at festivals. There is no doubt, artists generate – especially in our scene - hypes occur again and again. Be it a good track or an unforgettable DJ-Set. However, these come and go as quickly as they have emerged. And there is also something happening in this scene, which is quite apparent: It happens relatively fast. In Germany, the motherland of the electronic music, an artist has seldom managed to infringe at the same time upon such widely spread generations and masses. It is not by coincidence, that ideas like „German Techno Master“ (DJ Mag) or countless first grade placings originate in the process of the scene votings. Meanwhile one can also hardly keep up counting his fanclubs, who welcome him with frenetic exultation spreading across the entire republic and far beyond.
