Felix Kröcher has been one of the best-known techno greats in the German-speaking world for many years. Known for more than 100 shows a year, on the biggest stages, like the SonneMondSterne Festival, Nature One, or Mayday, Felix is known for his musical releases on labels like Terminal M, Filth On Acid, or Suara.

His previous releases of the year 2021 "I Am The Night", "Passion", "Vision", "Fusion",  ''Obsession'' and ''Illusion'' thematized Felix's deep connection to nightlife and the start into a new reality after the pandemic. These thoughts and feelings not only gave rise to the idea for his podcast "We Are The Night", but also formed the basis for his own label "We Are The Night".

An expression can be represented in many different forms. Especially in times of the pandemic, many artists used their music as a channel to express their feelings, thoughts, or even life situations. Artists tried new things, tried to educate themselves musically, and had the opportunity to put a lot of time into their music. Since there were few or no opportunities to perform live, music seems to be the most popular form of expression.

Where there were boundaries in our real lives, it seems like there are none in the musical world. On the contrary, many have tried to overcome these boundaries and create something new. New forms of expression have been created.

There is no doubt, artists generate – especially in our scene - hypes occur again and again. Be it a good track or an unforgettable DJ-Set. However, these come and go as quickly as they have emerged. And there is also something happening in this scene, which is quite apparent: It happens relatively fast. In Germany, the motherland of the electronic music, an artist has seldom managed to infringe at the same time upon such widely spread generations and masses. It is not by coincidence, that ideas like „German Techno Master“ (DJ Mag) or countless first grade placings originate in the process of the scene votings. Meanwhile one can also hardly keep up counting his fanclubs, who welcome him with frenetic exultation spreading across the entire republic and far beyond.
