Luke & I started this collab in Sydney at Turning Studios in between Stereosonic 2012 shows. We finished it for Ultra but were not quite happy with it then.

We finished last week with a battle of sessions sent through yousendit, arguing about the sound of the kick drum until the day before premiere.

When I opened my Tomorrowland set with it and saw 20k people punching the sky with their fist everytime the vocal says "blow", I had the feeling this was finally ready to be shared.

German DJ duo andhim brought us 'The Wizard of Us' last year, making their debut on Get Physical Music with the 2 track EP. While the title track was a small hit in its own right, it was the b-side, 'Hausch' that stole the stage with its sunny vibes and feel-good atmosphere. Now the boys have given the track to fellow Cologne artist Dürerstuben, Denmark's Kölsch and American techno-legend George Morel for a highly anticipated remix treatment.

After  taking  time  to  launch  his  own  label FONK  Recordings,  long-time  friend  of Revealed Recordings, Dannic, is back to the label that helped establish the Dutch artist as one of the top names in the dance music community. 

After releasing the  massive "Light The Sky" last March on Revealed, Dannic is back with "Blaze", a track that is set to light up the dancefloor and show just  why Dannic  has  made  such  a  name  for  himself over  the  past  few  years  and catapulted  his career into the stratosphere off the back of releasing consistently great music. 

"Blaze" is an anthem of epic proportions, full of soaring pads and rhythmically tribal drumsthat  make  the  track stand  out  as  a early  contender  for one  of  the tracks  of  the  summer.    A playful  melody  glides  around  the  breakdown,  joined  by  a progressive  style  repeating  synth that  opens  up  and  makes  the track come  alive.  A  fake  drop  signals  the  return  of  the  kick  which helps ramp up the tension before the track finally does drop, providing the gritty electro bassline that  makes  the track  pump.  It’s  a welcome  return  to Revealed  for Dannic,  and  fans  will  be hoping they will be hearing more from him on the label in the near future. 

"Blaze" will be available on Revealed Recordings on 6th June!

There is no doubt, artists generate – especially in our scene - hypes occur again and again. Be it a good track or an unforgettable DJ-Set. However, these come and go as quickly as they have emerged. And there is also something happening in this scene, which is quite apparent: It happens relatively fast. In Germany, the motherland of the electronic music, an artist has seldom managed to infringe at the same time upon such widely spread generations and masses. It is not by coincidence, that ideas like „German Techno Master“ (DJ Mag) or countless first grade placings originate in the process of the scene votings. Meanwhile one can also hardly keep up counting his fanclubs, who welcome him with frenetic exultation spreading across the entire republic and far beyond.
