In den nächsten Monaten dürft Ihr euch auf jede Menge neuer Mixe freuen. Auf die Flashback Compilations werden meine gesammelten Vinyls, die ich seit 2004 ergattern durfte, zusammengemixt.

Mit Flashback nehme ich euch auf eine musikalische Reise mit und zeige auf von welchen Einflüssen ich geprägt wurde. Vor allem sei hier vorab das Electric Delicate (München) und der Poison Club (Düsseldorf) zu nennen. Für immer in meinem Herzen!

Virtual Geisha’s debut is a sonic punch against apathy. After years of hypnotizing with emotionally charged DJ sets and visionary curatorship, she breaks through as a producer with a techno manifesto built to set the dancefloor on fire.

At its core pulses a searing monologue from Network (1976), as urgent now as it was four decades ago. Around it, Virtual Geisha builds a ritual of tension: hypnotic bongos, gritty textures, and a piano loop by Hania Derej, re-sampled and twisted into a melancholic vortex.

This is not escapist techno: it’s techno with teeth.
A groove that bites, demands movement and awareness, turning the floor into a space of resistance and catharsis.

There is no doubt, artists generate – especially in our scene - hypes occur again and again. Be it a good track or an unforgettable DJ-Set. However, these come and go as quickly as they have emerged. And there is also something happening in this scene, which is quite apparent: It happens relatively fast. In Germany, the motherland of the electronic music, an artist has seldom managed to infringe at the same time upon such widely spread generations and masses. It is not by coincidence, that ideas like „German Techno Master“ (DJ Mag) or countless first grade placings originate in the process of the scene votings. Meanwhile one can also hardly keep up counting his fanclubs, who welcome him with frenetic exultation spreading across the entire republic and far beyond.
