MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. 
Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.

Hello techno brothers and sisters. Its always good to be back with yet another underground episode, digged out from the deep . For this week we got in touch with Antonio Vázquez, a Dj and producer from Sevilla (Spain), based in Berlin.

Antonio has been playing and producing different styles since 1998, but from 2011 he has been focusing on the deeper side of what we love the most: techno. 

Other than making good productions, hes been playing at some legendary places: Berghain, Tresor, ://about blank, Komme (Manchester), psuescho_club, BRU/T, Research and more. We can also mention that he lately has been joining forces with the Hypnus label which is worth checking out.

Well then, what else to do than to fill your room with some proper techno !

'Spectral' is satisfyingly full of dread yet melodic all the same, which makes sense coming from this joint effort. The remix from UK-based Hot Creations producer wAFF is a more demanding edit as it picks up the pace and gives the track the extra push towards the dance-floor.

There is no doubt, artists generate – especially in our scene - hypes occur again and again. Be it a good track or an unforgettable DJ-Set. However, these come and go as quickly as they have emerged. And there is also something happening in this scene, which is quite apparent: It happens relatively fast. In Germany, the motherland of the electronic music, an artist has seldom managed to infringe at the same time upon such widely spread generations and masses. It is not by coincidence, that ideas like „German Techno Master“ (DJ Mag) or countless first grade placings originate in the process of the scene votings. Meanwhile one can also hardly keep up counting his fanclubs, who welcome him with frenetic exultation spreading across the entire republic and far beyond.
