Su nuevo corte Diamonds & Control es puro groove en estado de combustión lenta: bajos que sudan tensión, hi hats filtrados con bisturí y una melodía mínima que acecha en loop, como una idea fija que no se va.

Publicado a través de la recuperada plataforma wewillalwaysbealovesong —subsello más crudo de Ravanelli Disco Club— el track forma parte de un EP que coquetea con el Balearic ácido, el indie dance musculado y los códigos oscuros de la pista ALFOS. Aquí no hay decorado ni nostalgia: sólo arquitectura rítmica y magnetismo post-midnight.

En contraste con otros cortes del EP, Diamonds & Control abandona la calidez del nu disco para sumergirse en una espiral de tensión elegante, ideal para sets que no necesitan hits sino herramientas que respiren y muerdan al mismo tiempo.

Sacchetti —multiinstrumentista con base en Italia— firma así uno de sus trabajos más quirúrgicos hasta la fecha.

The Yellowheads are back, once again taking control of the situation and dropping another hot number on their home turf. Dema kicks things off with his own interpretation, letting the focus shift to the commanding bassline, while keeping the musical elements of the original intact. The original mix is up next, advancing in style with mighty low frequencies and cavernous effects, while streamlined synths go hand-in-hand with the subliminal rhythm section. Tomy Declerque finishes up with his own rendition, going for a more looped-out approach, combining classic chord action with spacey electronics and trippy edits.

Chain One is the beginning of a new remix compilation on the label New Port Records. Together with artists such as Rene Bourgeois, Nico Pusch, Monova, Dennis Rema, Red Rooms, Copilco and Martin Kleinert, we have generated something new again from already released tracks. We all share the same love for technoid, bass-heavy music. Everything is connected and has a meaning, even if this sense is often hidden, we know that we are close to our true mission when our actions are imbued with the energy, the driving tones, the oppressive bass and the enthusiasm. So we forged an interlocking chain of synthesizer, drums, pads, claps and leads to create something new, tangible. And so we would like to pass on the one to the other and to celebrate the sense of community and cohesion.

Carlo Ruetz has built a strong reputation for his particular brand of precision tool techno. The Rostock-born producer and DJ has been making waves since taking the Beatport minimal techno charts by storm and turning the head of tastemaker Richie Hawtin. Welcoming him back to Oliver Huntemann’s killer Senso Sounds, 'Hypersonic' is a four track EP of rare quality. 'Don’t Know' kicks it off, a bruising, powerful cut that combines a tough-as-nails rhythm section with bubbling, acidic vibes. 
EP title track 'Hypersonic' ups the ante even more - driving drums provide the bedrock for expressive percussion and a devastating bass pulse. 'Simultan' continues the party - a tech-house monster with filthy sub bass waves and firing rhythm track. The digital bonus track 'Rover' is a stripped down burner of a track with laser cut grooves and thick, atmospheric synth stabs that echo around the audio field.
