i was supposed to just make this an silly ass beat and put some adlibs on it but it kinda just went another way…..and then another way…..and then another….. i recorded those vocals on my commute from campus.

i haven't made something in like 6 months n a couple days ago i was like man i gotta make something i love making stuff so i wanted to make something funny that me and my 10 year old self would laugh at and i am somewhat satisfied with the result. earthbound is pretty cool but i like mother 3 better, blonde jimmy neutron really my son fr.

DAMN this dnb/jungle stuff is hard lol. anyways i found tancla's presets and I was like whoah i should try out vital with these... so i go to reaper and pull up this composition i made for this class i took. it was like a counterpoint melody assignment... i thought it was alright so i put it in reaper and then i start goin vitaling, trying out all the presets. hella fun. i was turning all of the little knobs and stuff feeling like that image of young thug on the computer. so yeah i did that and I was like man this needs something...like some drums....and maybe...bass? BASS and DRUMS! so i google search jungle dnb breaks and click on the first result and download some drums and basses and put it on there...slicin it up... makin it sound cool. so i'm like halfway done with the thing...now i'm thinking... hmm some more samples could be cool and then i remember what i was imagining while i was making the composition...a hat man... i remember title-ing it "He Keeps a Watch in His Pocket...He Keeps His Time to Himself" to emphasize the mysteriousness of this hatman in my mind. as you can see, i shortened it and changed "time" to hat. anyways i put some voice clips from street fighter 3's Q and also some sf3 sound effects and i was like YEP this is hot. this is also my first time trying this Equalizer thing and i heard somewhere that you don't have to eq all of your tracks but i was like idc im eqing everything. so there. all in all very cool to make and i hope y'all enjoy it
