We are proud and extremely humbled to present to you our very first release, "Unveiled" by rising German starlet "Phil".

Phil is based in Mainz not to far from Frankfurt home to the legendary club Robert Johnson. An astute music connoisseur who selects every instrument he uses with care and caresses every tone as if his life depended upon it. On listening to the three original tracks served up by Phil you instantly get a feel for this young artists character and musical vision. Also a very keen vinyl enthusiast it is no surprise that Phil has landed an internship at Freebase Records.

We welcome Phil into the Steppers & Sleepers family and look forward to working with him again in the near future.

On Remix duty we have [anon.] label and Othertones Records Co-owner, Dan Farserelli who needs no introduction. The Londoner is an integral part of the cities underground scene, and one of few who can say they have played in all three rooms at fabric and we hope you enjoy his Tresor style remix of "No Surroundings".
