DJ Biography of Felix Stolzenberger
Felix was born and grown up in Rostock, but already lives over 10 years in his adopted
hometown Hamburg.
The move to Hamburg in 2004 was also the start shot for the musical future.
Influenced by countless parties of the club scene in Rostock and the surrounding area knew
Felix exactly what he wanted.
In the middle of 2004 he bought mixer, turntables and monitor speakers and began to buy
vinyl disks.
Inspired by artists like Sam Paganini, Matt John, Joran van Pol, Richie Hawtin, Ron Costa
and many more, it followed two long years of exercising to mix with vinyl discs and the goal
in mind to present his harmonious combination of minimal underground, driving techno and
groovy tech-house style.
In 2006, he finally had his first public appearance at a club called "Kurhotel" in Hamburg.
It was followed by other performances in Hamburg and state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
especially in the small town called Marlow. He could revolve frequently the plates in the Club
named "Schuetzenhouse".
2 Years Later Felix played on his first major event called "Pütnitz Erw8" in Ribnitz-
Damgarten near Rostock along with great international DJ's like Troy Pierce, Dapayk,
Heartthrob and Carlo Ruetz.
Through this event, his name became well known beyond the borders of Rostock and
Hamburg so many more gigs followed at various events.
Despite the little time between work and dj gigs it had to continues to progress with the
musical career.
“ Producing of own music “
2011 succeeded the first release on "Etiketa Records" together with an acquaintance.
The release name is "To Be Different EP".
Between 2011 and 2013, also 2 remixes for Carlo Ruetz emerged on "Ecologiko Records"
and "Slaap Records".
From 2013 he has´nt lost the love of music to this day. On the contrary ... Felix has continued
to develop.
He changed his way of mixing music completely to digital with devices such as „Maschine“
of Native Instruments and other external controllers.
The digital Djing knows no limits and enables unprecedented opportunities.
One must only be willing to accept this and to combine their own interests with it.
