We have a treat for you this week - here's a set from Cafe Mambos resident DJ Ryan McDermott, recorded live from Cafe Mambo in Ibiza after Camelphat.

Ryan McDermott is a DJ who originates from Sunderland, UK, although his second home Ibiza calls to him every summer, now in his 4th year as an Ibiza Resident DJ.  He has an enviable residency at the world famous Cafe Mambo on the sunset strip, alongside his other residencies there at Savannahs and Mint Lounge, he is no stranger to playing sunset sessions or a day time pool/beach party and loves the Balearic beat style he gets to play for those. 

Ryan has played numerous venues and parties in Ibiza, being a resident for the ‘Doorly & Friends party’ which is held at the infamous Pikes Hotel, he’s also played for the new Cuckoo Land pool party at Ibiza Rocks Hotel and for Faction at the Super Club Eden.  Other venues in Ibiza include; Itaca, Sol House, Rio, Hush and Viva amongst others.

Not stopping in the winter months, Ryan plays all over the north east of England whilst back in the UK, recently flying to Belfast to play for a Cafe Mambo New Year’s Eve party.  With his lengthy diverse sets requiring a wide range in music, Ryan has an extensive music library to play anytime of the day or night, which keeps him in high demand as a confident crowd pleaser.

awards for Dance music in Spain. That same year he started to work
as Resident Dj at the Vintage parties by Sebastian Gamboa at Pacha
Ibiza, Lio Ibiza and Ocean Beach Club Ibiza [Ibiza, Spain]. From 2013
onwards he established seasonal residencies in Ushuaia Tower &
The Beach Club Restaurant, Bora Bora Ibiza with I DO IBIZA, Ocean
Beach Club with Ibiza Sensations, Chiringay Beach Club Ibiza, for
the summer.

During winter time has been working as Resident DJ at Wahm
Lounge and Crystal Club, both in W Doha Hotel, Qatar. Regularly his
sessions are broadcasted on Spanish radios such as Maxima FM,
Ibiza Live Radio, Loca Fm, Ibiza Global Radio, Vicious Radio, Beach
Grooves FM. Other places where he has played since 2003, both
national and international clubs.
