George Morel broke new ground with his iconic track ‚Let’s Groove’ – defining a genre and a moment with his sound – a feat achieved by only a precious few. 
That was in 1992 – when techno & house was the new kid on the block. Now, 21 (!) years later we revisit this colossal track and fit it with some remixes, including one from the man himself.   Tom Trago, Claptone, Coyu and DJ T. and PBR Streetgang all take on the dinosaur and give it a new breath of life in 2013. 
The results are amazing, and even more so when we reflect on all that came between. An entire lifetime of music and celebration lead up to this point, and will continue long after – after all, it is the spirit of the music which never really dies.

When creating an exclusive new track for his DJ-Kicks mix, Maceo Plex decided to deviate slightly from his comfort zone. “I’m kind of known for a couple of big disco records and some really deep bassline house tracks," he says. "This track is much darker, but still pretty sexy and soulful. The whole thing is dark and futuristic.” Maceo's new track "Galactic Cinema" anchors his mix, which is available April 30th on !K7.

A two track EP featuring both new Maceo Plex tracks from DJ-Kicks ("Galactic Cinema" and "Mind On Fire") will be available on Beatport on April 15th.

Having first connected at Txitarro Club, Deba, in the Pais Vasco region of Spain, Stan and Charles found that their musical interests and talents matched and were soon creating energetic pieces, perfect for the dancefloor. With tracks such as 'Insane' and 'The Pianist' finding support from the likes of Luciano and Carl Cox, this Basque duo now ready themselves to drop their latest productions with Circus Recordings. 

Lead track 'Dorinda' is a sunshine smash with its funky tribal beats, rolling bassline and youthful chants. On the flip 'My Religion' matches tough tech house with the deep-rooted blues of the Southern US States.

OFF regulars Mat.Joe from Berlin already proved to be a quintessential part of the new movement that fuses deep house beats with heavy basslines with hip hop and r&b influences. They come back strong with a new multitrack ep. No fillers here, everything is crafted to be an amazing dancefloor weapon.

'Showtime' starts up the party with a killer house groove topped with luscious hip hop vocals and ghetto arrangements while 'Hypnotic' drops a supersexy r&b vocal hook and a bouncy bassline for yet another peak deep house bomb. 

Last comes 'Somebody', a 909-infused house masterpiece with soul influenced vocals that will sure jack everyone's bodies.

On remix duties, with releases and features on Visionquest, Mobilee, Noir and Souvenir comes Forrest, who reworks 'Somebody' into yet another dancefloor mover with a sub-bass driving groove that takes the vocal work to a different dimension. 

This is one of those records where you can't really pick a favourite so you better grab them all!
