Unser Freund Amon vom Feines Tier zeichnet sich maßgeblich für das musikalische Rahmenprogramm des Festivals aus. Hier auch nochmal vielen Dank für das entgegengebrachte Vertrauen … Amon du bist ein Guter ;-)

Das Katzensprung Festival im schönen Bergischen Land geht dieses Jahr in die dritte Runde … wie die Zeit vergeht. Auch dieses Jahr gibt es wieder einen bunten Mix … 100 Dj`s, Musiker und Live-Bands, die auf 6 verschiedenen Floors ordentlich für euch ins Waldhorn blasen werden! Mainacts unter anderem Matthias Tanzmann, Michael Mayer, rampue, Heimlich Knüller oder Martha van Straaten um nur einige zu nenne. Wir von Afterhour Sounds sind auch mit unserem neuem Team-Mitgliedern Gina Sabatini und Mattmosphere vertreten.

Für dieses kleine Festival Special konnten wir den mehr als talentierten Künstler Lukas Endhardt überzeugen einen Podcast einzuspielen. Neben seiner Leidenschaft als DJ ist Lukas auch ein begnadeter Produzent mit zahlreichen Releases unter anderem für unsere Freund von Drosssel, Amselcom oder Heimlich Musik. Auf für unser Team-Mitglied Tony Casanova hat er schon einen Remix beigesteuert. Für Katzensprung in Verbindung mit Afterhour Sounds hat sich Lukas auch wieder mächtig ins Zeug gelegt und eine überragende Stunde Musik zusammengestellt … wir sind hin und weg.

Und nun wünschen wir euch viel Spaß bei der musikalischen Reise mit Lukas Endhardt und vielleicht sieht man sich ja auf dem Katzensprung Festival 2018.

Info: Freak durchläuft die klassische DJ-Laufbahn: Ein junger Mann mit dem hübschen Namen Philipp erbt 1998 Plattenspieler und zwei Techno-Scheiben, findet Gefallen am Mixen und schmiedet den schamlosen Plan, die Welt zu erobern. Das Lehrlingsgeld wird fortan in Vinyl investiert, Len Faki und Dave Clarke stehen ganz oben auf der Wunschliste. Strebsam vertieft er nicht nur seine Kenntnisse in der Musik, sondern baut seine Fertigkeiten an den Decks immer weiter aus. Als Freak de Philipè bespielte er erstmals auf kleinen und privaten Partys das Publikum, macht sich schnell einen Namen unter dem feiernden und begeisterten Volk und rückt im Line up immer häufiger neben die Größen des Techno. Obwohl nie ganz klar ist, wie man Freak de Philipè eigentlich schreibt – auch Philipp nicht – passt das Pseudonym: Der Junge und seine Sets stecken voller raumgreifender, kribbeliger Energie. Soviel, dass er sie schließlich auf zwei Aka’s verteilen muss: Constantine Koch erblickt das Licht der Welt. Als Constantine lebt Philipp seine Vorliebe für etwas weniger verrückten, weniger „brutalen“, zwar immer noch minimalen aber auch mal geschwungen schönen Sound aus. Eine etwas zurückhaltendere Art, letztlich doch wieder zur Ekstase zu gelangen. Und irgendwie lugt der Freak dann doch immer auch um die Ecke.

Philipp ist Mitbegründer der Hard&Smart-Crew, die seit Jahren Techno-Acts mit Rang und Namen ins mitteldeutsche Niemandsland lockt, hat diverse Nebenprojekte mit befreundeten DJs und Musikern am Laufen, organisiert Partys und hebt auch gerne mal kleine Clubs mit aus der Taufe.

Lauter Unfug releases a 8 Track compilation that includes tracks by residents and friends that helped shape the label over time. This release merges the musical influences of the label and reaches out from deep and soulful house to Tech House and Techno. Every track has its own individual character and the well composed remixes underline that every artist has been guided by his unification to the label which has engaged in promoting them around Europe and the world. 
The label has also given the artists the opportunity to experiment and therefore release some tunes that sound different to what you might expect given their past releases, so be ready to anticipate some surprises along the way.
