Lucidity 2022 was a DREAM! I’m feeling revived after seeing many of the connections and friendships I’ve built over the years together in one place. It meant the world to see so many familiar faces supporting me in ways I couldn’t have imagined!

3 years ago I met many incredible humans at Lucidity 2019, and to all come back together in same space 3 years later (after a fkn whirlwind of life) was a crazy full circle experience.

One that stands out - meeting Teran @tchilt at Lucidity 2019 after witnessing the first ever @boizhouse live set, and now in 2022 I played out a breaks/tech track that we produced together!! Listen here in this mix at 34:30 <3

"This mix was actually the first practice take I did - very off the cuff and perhaps a little rough around the edges, but I thought it would be a better representation of my current DJ style than meticulously planning every moment and transition. Generally speaking the only guide rail I had for it was a desire to do a bit of a reversal of the usual “chiller music and then build the intensity” style and start off with some juke-y, ravier elements and end the mix with a bit more of a heads down psychedelic 4x4 moment. There are a number of forthcoming bits from myself in there to showcase what’s coming in the next few months, plus brand new and unreleased music from some friends like Hodge, Nick León, and Erik Luebs."

This mix was recorded on the day of and in dedication to the 7 year passing of my father Dec 26, 2022
I played all night, surrounded myself with his paintings that are quite psychedelic and I wonder... 
This is my studio, my salon and safer space.  I built this in his honor and now I fill it with my energy, creativity and immaculate vibes.  Many of these songs were on my New Year's eve performance.  
I hope you enjoy the journey, mixed with so much love.  <3

Born out of a shared love of jungle, the 'Rinse Rangers' are a collective duo (JROY & REC12) that explore sounds across the spectrum of ‘Jungle Music'. Having shared the stage at Thumptown Music festival, as well as countless times at The Beaumont Studios bSide Radio space, these two have a great shared energy, and mutual track selection that translates this mix into a 2 hour journey of all things jungle and dnb.

Thank you Groovewell & Camp Never Sleep Again for trusting in me and my sound to bring in the sunlight Sunday morning at NSA Campout 2023. I selected some vibey jungle and etherial breaks to bring a melodic and warming feeling to my typical broken beat sound. A highlight was also going out on a whim and mixing in an old classic from one of the most legendary and influential artists of our time - Björk's Hyperballad. Shouts out to Xochitl for screaming the lyrics along with me at the top of our lungs as the first sun rays of the day fell over us. 

This was my first time experimenting mixing with jungle and a bit of half-time, so bare with me. I've been holding onto these tracks for the perfect moment and set time ~ which was so kindly gifted to me on my 1 year anniversary of moving to San Francisco.
