While assembling mix these last few weeks and thinking about the direction I wanted it go, I noticed that elderflower had been popping up in various points in my life. Elderflower is one of my favorite words...it's oxymoronic with the sophistication and experience of an elder contrasted by the youth of a flower in bloom. The taste itself is worth mentioning, which is delicate and sweet in nature…I tried to capture all these things in this mix, sophistication, spirit, delicacy, and sweetness, and I hope that came through. Hope you like it.

Spazzkid and Cascine shared the new single 'Daytime Disco'. Wrapped around Mark Redito's complex, plastic productions and the gloss vocals of K-Pop songbird Neon Bunny, the track was undeniably buoyant, future-forward and emotive. To compliment the single, UK trio Kero Kero Bonito present their remix of 'Daytime Disco', an entirely reimagined take on the original, complete with new vocals and instrumentals. Apart from select lyrics and the song's relentless spirit, nothing remained the same. Additionally, LA-based nu-soul producer/multi-instrumentalist, starRo contributes his subtle, beat-driven interpretation of the track.

The bank had been problematic. The hold up hadn't worked. Currency was such a problem to those who had little and a burden to those whose pockets were lined with gold. Their guns had caught the attention of the staff but had ceased to scare the office chief. He had refused to transfer the funds to the account in question and now they were simply stood like a pair of spares in the large empty hall. Marble lined the walls and the floor upon which they stood, this place made them sick. How could an institution with so much struggle to give anything back to those who sat outside the grand palace with nothing. It was time to transfer the currency. 

Gross Net are about to release thei debut album through Touch Sensitive Records on the 25th of November. Drawing upon elements from punk, techno and disco their output is inspired.

Lost Film began as the minimalist guitar pop project of Jim Hewitt in Easthampton, MA in 2014.  Having just moved away from Boston after spending several years playing under the moniker Orca Orca, Hewitt adjusted back to small town life by focusing on writing straight-forward, layered pop songs.  Mixed with an equal adoration of Sarah Records of the late 80's and Pacific Northwest bands of the early 2000's, Lost Film released their debut full-length Imago (The Native Sound) in 2015 followed quickly by the 4 song EP Temporary (The Native Sound) in 2016; both seeing praise from the likes of Noisey, DIY Mag, and GoldFlakePaint.
