Female/male duo/couple White Hex released their debut album, 'Heat,' in 2012. 2014 sees their return with the follow up full-length, 'Gold Nights'. The album is the second in a series of three thematically connected records which is based on a period of three years. Recorded after shows in Paris, Berlin, New York and Melbourne, 'Gold Nights' explores Italo disco, minimalist techno and the more primitive end of 1980’s German underground. They embrace their love of high fashion, 1980’s New York vogue techno and the mutant explorations of Whitehouse, Arthur Russell, Craig Leon and Gianni Rossi. 'Gold Nights' retains certain elements of their beloved debut, but moves in a more sophisticated direction as a result of White Hex’s vision and with the help of producer Alex Akers (Forces-Siberia Records). White Hex is Tara Green and Jimi Kritzler.

White Hex - Paradise

Verø creates original and eclectic sounds twined with girlish vocals, synths, simple beats and a guitar. Each song is born out of a loose rudiment, which then turns into a specific atmospheric idea and, because of that, the band’s music cannot be classified as any particular genre.

Verø was founded by Weronika Vero Szatkowska, who has been creating her own songs for years. Being based on her own life experiences and passion for writing, everything that arises is purely inspired by the surrounding world, interpersonal relationships and sensitivity. It is a release of worries, unpleasantness and joy at the same time.

In the past Verø was called Vero and music previously performed was slightly different from the new material. The band used to play more vivid sounds based on acoustic instruments. Currently, they are more open to modernity and electronic influences, although still on the canvas of the 1960s music.

In the past, the band’s creativity has been well-received in the Netherlands and South Africa. Thanks to talentcast.nl, their music resounded on foreign radio stations such as Ede FM (Netherlands), Deventer Radio (Netherlands), Universe Radio (Netherlands) and Fame Music Radio (South Africa). One of their tunes, called "Words," won the status of song of the week on Ede FM 5 times.

Vero music won an award during the elimination of the Seven Festival. The band also performed as a supporting act for artists such as Earl Thomas.

Well it starts with proto punk [Ramones] & early synth stuff [DEVO], then 80s alternative [depeche mode] & dark wave [clan of xymox]. While at the same time including heavy/industrial [Sisters of Mercy, Front 242] and on to witch house. It just keeps getting better.
