ARIA nominated vocalist and violinist, Fem Belling, has exploded onto the Melbourne Jazz Scene.
 She is fast becoming one of Australia's most exciting & sought after jazz performers. 
Her African Jazz and theatre roots augment her unique musicality, choices and interpretations, versatile voice and powerful stage presence, creating something extraordinary each time she steps onto the stage.

Acclaimed for her self- written musical homage to jazz chanteuse Blossom Dearie in the Melbourne International Jazz Festival & nominated as Best Leading Actress in a Musical for the  Green Room Awards. 

Fem is no stranger to the stage. A leading lady of London’s West End for 7 years, Fem has performed for Her Majesty at the Royal Variety Show, lead roles in shows HAIRSPRAY, FAME, CATS, JOSEPH, LITTLE SHOP of HORRORS, CATS &  Liza Minnelli opposite Todd McKenney in THE BOY FROM OZ.

Born of an artistic family, Fem's father, a renowned jazz pianist, made sure she was bathed in the sounds of jazz royalty. Now, she is in demand with both international and local artists, performing with Joe Chindamo, Paul Williamson, Joe Ruberto, John Foreman, Gil Askey, The DMJO, JMQ, The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra (ARIA nomination), Gregory Porter, she has sung at Village Underground (NYC), Womadelaide, Byron Bay Blues & Roots, Ronnie Scotts (Lnd), Noosa Jazz and can be seen in Melbourne's top music venues.
