The Groves at which we worship, and the Gallows from which we hang


Composer and performer. Electro acoustic clarinet obsessive. Been on this platform for so long it's become a time capsule, each of these tracks are snapshots into my life at varying points in time. My new works and albums are on Bandcamp now but I post here every now and then.
I am one half of the experimental music collaborations @phaser-ensori and  Erwartung (@marlene-radice & @campbellumbers ).

Second album from London based singer-songwriter, Cat Nickless, coming out on new imprint Round Table Records in April 2018. A cross atlantic affair inspired by her time studying in New York and recorded in London. While in NY she developed a love for photography taking a series of 35mm film photographs, inspired by this and after working with Andrew 'Woody' Woodhead (Meraqi) to craft the songs she took these same analogue principles to London’s Soup Studios working with David Holmes (Ghostpoet, Nubya Garcia, Jakob), recording on original tape machines. But the connection wasn’t just in approach, each song was directly inspired by one of the photographs, leading to a feedback loop of creativity.

IZZI (a.k.a. "MEMPHIS IZZI") is a Singer-Songwriter and Recording Artist born and raised in Memphis, TN - the home of the Blues, Rock-n-Roll, Rockabilly and Soul Music.

Nashville has been her second home over the 10+ years, as well as some earlier years spent in New York City and Tempe Arizona.  All of which has diversely influenced Izzi's sound and love of a vast array of music. Her original songs definitely cross numerous genres but she leans heavily into "American Roots-Rock," "Folk Rock," "Folk-Pop", "Alt Pop", while also putting her signature modern spin on Rockabilly, notably coined (by a legacy A-lister session player from Memphis) as "Memphis Pop'n, Rockabilly-Blues".

Focused on original music, Izzi has a very fresh and unexpected vibe, song after song! With unique lyricism and a melodic voice, she bridges a gap between vulnerable songs like "Forever Lovers", "Foster Love" and "Hey Joe (Where'd Ya Go?)", to her more roots-rocking soulful songs like "Ready and Willing to Fly" (EP Title Track), "What am I supposed to do?", "Two sides to this story" and "I'm gonna love you." Her "Red Dress" song is a real audience favorite with a fun-filled "Memphis Pop'n, Rockabilly-Blues" sound.

Izzi has co-produced most of her original material as an Independent Songwriter/Artist/Producer in several studios, including her own.
