However, in the case of Mollono.Bass & Friends this unique feeling of being connected with each other finds expression through the language of rhythm and sound - thats why it is highly contagious, because everybody in front of the speakers is quite literally in tune with anybody else. Real friendship is profound and based on many factors, a principle that finds expression in the title Friendship. Organic electronics, trombone, violin, guitar and vocals complement each other and create an uplifting feeling of catchiness that is clearly reminiscent of a hymn. One World, Our Future is bursting with pressure and sublime psychedelic elements, the title Darkness is a mesmerizing story that takes place in the mysterious twilight between a golden sunrise and a thunderstorm of bass. The topic of „Salome“ fits the two producers Kadebostan and Laolu from Switzerland perfectly. Just listen to their prior releases on Freude Am Tanzen, fenou or Clap Your Hands. The melodies sway back and forth - dreamy and full of peace. The rhythm group plays along and only the most necessary things. And even though the vocal phrases retain their own character, they blend into this musical structure as if they were made for these tracks. The A and the B face show a masterly crafted arrangement. It would be a mistake not to listen to the whole, as one would miss the feeling to let yourself go. As usual, the lovingly designed 10inch record is a limited edition and numbered by hand.

PREMIERE: Aykut Bilir - Humans (Original Mix) | [Mousikē Records]

Fenou was born in 2005. It is the first sublabel of Mo's Ferry and stands for this special musical output between more harmonious electronica and swinging minimal house... let's say "cuteminimalelectronica". The first releases are presented as cute mini-compilations consisting two tracks by two different artists. Later the label presented artist releases, as well. To drive the vinyl enthusiasts mad who favour not only day-by-day sounds the fenou releases are limited 10inch editions with hand painted cover artwork and serially numbered.
