Ferenc Szanati (Euphonic Moments - HU)

Ferenc Szanati has been consciously collecting music since his childhood, and made his debut as a DJ in 2007 at the Justmusic.FM DJ Championhsip, which he won.
Over time, his musical taste has evolved, influenced by Progressive House and Deep House, leading him to Dub Techno, which is very close to him and he has been representing this style for a couple of years now.
Besides music, sound quality is also important to him, so he prefers vinyl to always get the best possible sound on different systems. In 2011, Helikon Radio in Keszthely, Koktél, gave him a regular opportunity a resident DJ and editor to make his style available on terrestrial broadcasting in the region.
In 2015, he and his friend AeRo founded the Euphonic Moments event series, which has become a show on Tilos Radio since then (Budapest, FM 90.3 and online). The Dub Techno-centric broadcasts can be heard bi-weekly, featuring guests mixes from Hungarian and international DJs who are doing quality work, alongside the hosts.
Among others, he has appeared at events and clubs such as Club Dallas, Bloom Bar, Nemdebár, Mika Tivadar Mulato, Larm, Dürer Kert, Piknik Manufaktúra, Gátőrház, Aurora, Telep, Müszi, Deep Vision Night Camp, Phonoda Camp, Technoub Seance, Kerdő and of course Tilos Radio parties, as well as in numerous national and international podcasts.

A zene mellett a hangminőség is fontos számára, hogy különböző rendszereken mindig a lehető legjobban szólaljanak meg a zenék, emiatt előnyben részesíti a vinylt.
2011-ben, a keszthelyi Helikon Rádió, Koktél című műsorában kapott rendszeres lehetőséget mint rezidens DJ és szerkesztő, hogy a régióban is elérhető legyen földi sugárzásban az általa képviselt stílus.
2015-ben barátjával, AeRo-val megalapították az Euphonic Moments eseménysorozatot, amely azóta műsor is lett a Tilos Rádióban (Budapest, FM 90.3 és online).
A Dub Techno központú adások kétheti rendszerességgel hallhatók, melyben a házigazdák mellett olyan magyar és nemzetközi DJ-k vendégmixei is helyet kapnak, akik minőségi munkát végeznek.
Többek között olyan rendezvényeken, klubokban fordult már meg, mint a Club Dallas, Bloom Bar, Nemdebár, Mika Tivadar Mulató, Larm, Dürer Kert, Piknik Manufaktúra, Gátőrház, Aurora, Telep, Müszi, Deep Vision Night Camp, Phonoda Camp, Technoub Seance, Kerdő és természetesen Tilos Rádió partykon, valamint számos hazai és nemzetközi podcast-ben.

FX-driven Jamaican soundsystems meeting the machines of techno with an abstract sound and loosely repetitive rhythms stucture, along with some usage of low end sonics - that's what dub techno is about. This music is a sonic experience far beyond the narrow pathways of techno, demonstrating that there is a universal code which connects repetitive patterns of organic sounds with club music. In 2007, he won a DJ competition on Justmusic.FM radio.
In 2011, he was given a regular slot as a resident DJ and editor on Helikon Radio's Koktél program in Keszthely, making his style of music available in the region via terrestrial broadcasting.
In 2015, he and his friend AeRo founded the Euphonic Moments event series, which has since become a show on Tilos Radio (Budapest, FM 90.3 and online), which has already aired more than 260 episodes.
The Dub Techno-focused broadcasts are aired every two weeks and feature guest mixes by Hungarian and international DJs who do quality work, in addition to the hosts.
From 2023, he was given the opportunity to become a resident DJ at Technodub Seance events, Hungary's first dub techno project, which is highly regarded among electronic music fans.
