Im really happy ill be a part of @mariusdrescher s Remixalbum. Marius is probably the one i know for longest time in music business and we shared a lot of music and even produced a record together during that time.
This track is actually my first track i ever created in such a slow tempo. Story behind this is, that Marius asked me to do something completely different than usual and expand the possibilities of the original material. So i turned the whole thing down to 103 BPM and guess what, since then im kinda "stuck" there ;) Hope you like it and im thankful for everyone who knows me for my usual tempo, but is still with. I will always support and practice versatility in electronic music!

"I was about 12 years old when I’ve got a computer.
I just joined the trend with hard drive exchanges and my classmate brought me one with a bunch of different files. Among the Russian pop in the music folder I found the Dance Macabre album (but half of the album was missing). Unknown synth sound in combination with guitars blew up my brain. I asked a friend to search for the rest of the songs on his computer. A week later he brought me a whole CD IMAGE on his flash drive. I went around scrolling songs in my windows media player (mp3 players were expensive pleasure and my parents didn’t want to buy it for me))). It was a turning point in my life when I even found out about the existence of synthesizer sound! The Faint style could not be associated with anything since I just didn’t listen to it and the first impression I had was the strongest. I’m still feeling it in a special way! You can’t feel the same at the age of 27.  My first thoughts about playing music came when I was 12.

Jacob Thiele, former keyboardist for both The Faint and side-project Depressed Buttons, has died at the age of 40. 
The Faint influenced me one time and took a place in my heart. that's why we performed and recorded this track for you!

The Faint is an American indie rock band. Formed in Omaha, Nebraska, the band consists of Todd Fink, Graham Ulicny, Dapose and Clark Baechle. The Faint was originally known as Norman Bailer and included Conor Oberst (of Bright Eyes, with whom the Faint toured in 2005). He quit shortly after the band was formed,[1] though the Faint continued to share a spot with Bright Eyes on Saddle Creek Records.

Skinny Puppy is a bitch to cover! For the drums I micro-sampled the actual drums from the song then looped it out. For the samples I had to find Reagan's anti-pornography speech & also the sample from Hitchcock's "Shadow of a Doubt" ("They're alive, They're human beings!")on youtube. Of course all guitars & bass & additional keyboards are all me as well as the vox. I gave it my best shot. Long live Skinny Puppy!
