The first in a series of mixes paying homage to the incredible spectrum of Progressive House. As the title suggests, this mix is all about the dark side of Tribal and Progressive, the type of music that if you were to play it while walking down a dark alley in the middle of the night it's the dark alley that would be scared. In Darkness We Trust

Scottish-Spanish producer Liam Garcia makes his debut on Voodoo & Prayers with All About The Groove EP.

The title track, All About The Groove, is built for the floor—driving bassline, hypnotic rhythm, and darker tones carrying the weight of a true club cut. On the flip, Always Her Future leans into Indie Dance, fusing nostalgic disco textures with a bittersweet, late-night mood.

Liam’s productions have earned support from Hernán Cattáneo and Mariano Mellino, with releases on Stripped Digital, Club Sonica, RKP, Hexagonal Music, Superordinate, and AH Digital. Now, with this two-track EP, he brings his Scoto-Spanish fusion to the Voodoo & Prayers catalogue.

Sunexplosion dives into a more melodic and dreamlike corner of Progressive House with Phantom | Starcore | Gimmick — a deep and emotional three-track release. The title track Phantom is a collaboration between Slovak producer Allex and rising Russian talent Flaist. Flaist brings a cinematic, ambient-influenced edge, while Allex delivers his signature precision and drive. Both artists create a lush, layered opener full of melodic depth. Starcore and Gimmick follow as solo productions by Allex, offering rich textures, subtle rhythmic development, and a more introspective mood. This release marks a shift toward softer, more emotional territories — while still rooted in the underground Progressive sound the label stands for.

Fergus Alexander is a highly respected DJ and promoter based in Brisbane, Australia, who has been active in the electronic music scene for over two decades. Known for his deep, rhythmic, and emotive sets that blend progressive house, techno, and melodic grooves, Fergus has earned a reputation for his seamless mixing and keen track selection. Fergus has performed at renowned venues like Sub Rosa, Barsoma, La La Land, Brown Alley, Empire, and Family, as well as major festivals such as Future Music Festival, Earth Frequency, Earthcore, and Creamfields. He has shared stages with top international acts, including Joris Voorn, Henry Saiz, Mathew Johnson, Gui Boratto, Dave Seaman and many more

Beyond his DJ career, Fergus is an influential promoter. He co-founded events such as the Logic series, which brought top tier interstate and international talent to Brisbane, and more recently Ctrl, a night focused on intimate house and electronica experiences​

Fergus remains a pillar of Brisbane’s underground electronic music community, continually pushing the boundaries of sound and elevating the local scene with his innovative style.
