This piece turned out to have a really optimistic feeling thanks to the 9th and 11th chords with open voicings, and the exciting rhythmic pattern.

I titled it “On my way home”, because it gave me the feeling of driving home at night at the end of a long journey, hardly being able to wait to tell about my experiences to my loved ones…

Le documentaire belge "La vie d’une petite culotte et de celles qui la fabriquent" réalisé par Stéfanne Prijot, avec Yann Verbeke, raconte la vie de femmes qui travaillent dans l’ombre des hangars des industries du textile.
De l'Ouzbékistan, l'Inde, l'Indonésie et la Belgique, la petite culotte nous emmène sur le chemin de sa fabrication et questionne la valeur que l'on donne aux vêtements, mais surtout aux vies que la façonnent.

Additional Notes: Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns was born in Paris on October 9, 1835, and died in Algiers on December 16, 1921. He composed the Introduction and Rondo capriccioso for violin and orchestra in 1863. Pablo de Sarasate, for whom the work was written, was the first to perform it, in 1870.
The Introduction and Rondo capriccioso was conceived as an independent piece, and it has been consistently popular.
