These are all the trackz that i did for/with the Gegen crew from the moment that i start to collaborate with them, is my transposition in music of what each concept communicate to me.

Against yourself. Around queer narratives.

Gegen is a complex word in German because it has two opposite meanings.

Historically speaking it means “against”, signifying all the counter cultural movements since the very beginning of youth cultures but if you apply the word to time, it means “around”. One meaning is closed, defined in terms of space. The other is open and undefined in terms of time. In the contemporary moment the idea of “enemy” – in which a thought and an action can be identifiable as “against” – is not there and is not clear anymore as power relationships changed through the development of post-modernism. And this gave space to markets to regenerate themselves through the queer-counter cultural movements by producing an oligopoly of empty events repeating themselves until their fast extinction and in the same time by crystallising the institutionalisation of big “queer meccas” which exercise more and more power on the scene. This process is verifiable in Berlin as the incubator of new world trends in the arts of entertainment.

This basic tension gives the spaces and the times for a new proposal to blossom from the ashes of the historical and infamous queer techno party called “SABOT°AGE BERLIN” which characterised fades of mutation in some of the wildest Friedricshain nights. The aim is playing with the solitude of the political meaning of GEGEN as a suicidal mechanism of the “self” or the sublime crisis of enemy subtraction as the aggression of dialectics. A linguistic game of pop art where the semantic putsch of “Gegen” becomes the broken mirror of its own impossibilities. The electric fear to find oneself multiple by being against oneself and unrecognisable. The dangers of being desireful in a psycho dramatic performance. The political practice of hallucinatory love to defy hate as antagonistic, identitarian mechanism.

Perceiving the idea of community as a demagogic form for bigger powers like religions, societies and markets to exercise their violence with the fake flag of politically correct partecipation, we do not wish to design a party just to give you a safe space and protection. We are not selling you the possibility to be “queer” for one night. We want to expose you to your own fears and pleasures by pushing you to understand how your own power mechanisms are produced. This is why we invite you to be GEGEN by performing your psychosis, by being the enemy of yourself, by thinking and being out of b/order and by destroying every rational thought.

This set is dedicated to Simone Remini (Dj SMN) died ten years ago.
He teach me more in three years about life, music and chaos, then most of the other people in all my life!

Play at first in a party is something really difficult...u have in front an empty dance floor...and find the right beat to make the people start to dance is always hard job!
But this time i got to say that was not so bad...there was few people that directly start to dance...scream...coming to me and talking...asking about the music...and make me feel relaxed and happy to open the party...

How many vital energy is lost in the thermohydraulics of an orgasm; how much psyche, body, tensions, thoughts, contractions, spasms, liquids? For what? Reproductive stimulus? A propriety contract on somebody else's body? Love? Psychotherapy? Why. What brings you to the need to kill, putting an end to the word "desire"? Petite Mort. Destiny's irony. Did you ever try to chose not to chose, to refuse the consequence, to exercise the free will of abandon by expanding your desire toward a goal which is not a state but a process. There, you'll find a strange orgasm or the absurdity of being; the blossoming of panic of endless possibilities; an hyper-life post-mortem experience. Its not concluding is ecstasy or Ex-Stasis; the out-of-body state of being; the border crisis between self and world. Becoming God.

That precise moment where the loss of control shouts its painful need of a final solution. It's the recall of the body order; the shot in the dark that brings the monster back inside by rebuilding the relationship between chaos and cosmos in a prescribed order by an anterior world. GEGEN tears the tree of life down. GEGEN enjoys the crisis of the state by dancing the state of crisis or fragility of a moment which does not resolve itself in the synthesis of being, reproducing, concluding, never ending, wandering off destiny, entering in non-human dimensions. GEGEN trusts in eternal love, for that there's no earth peace to men of good will. To retain is not to desist but to persist and to insist. This is an invitation to come not to come, where the absent lights the present up.

♍ GEGEN ORGASM MANIFESTO ♍

This song has been composed after the suicide of a good friend of Fernando and Lou.
is divided into five parts, each composed in the five nights after the tragedy, not been changed anymore.
Luo then recorded the flutes in the same way, just listening to the tracks once, and then have registered directly flutes or voices.
When Fernando made us listen this music for the first time has told:
"I needed to rip away from my soul  the emotions caused from the death of Iris ... and then I asked Lou to help me because she was one of the best friend of Iris and because the flute is an instrument that is/was used in many cultures to speak with the deads ... ."
But he never want to play this live for a good reason:
 "I think this music is very good and it saddens me even more because when I listen to it i always remember why i did them… I will much more happy if i never did them ​​and I have Iris still here with us…so i will never play it live!!! "
