George Winston grew up mainly in Montana, and also spent his later formative years in Mississippi and Florida. During this time, his favorite music was instrumental rock and instrumental R&B, including Floyd Cramer, the Ventures, Booker T & The MG’s, Jimmy Smith, and many more. Inspired by R&B, jazz, Blues and rock (especially the Doors), George began playing organ in 1967. In 1971 he switched to the acoustic piano after hearing recordings from the 1920s and the 1930s by the legendary stride pianists Thomas “Fats” Waller and the late Teddy Wilson. In addition to working on stride piano, he also at this time came up with his own style of melodic instrumental music on solo piano, called folk piano. 

Since 1972 George has released thirteen solo piano albums: AUTUMN (1980), WINTER INTO SPRING (1982), DECEMBER (1982), SUMMER (1991), FOREST (1994), LINUS & LUCY-THE MUSIC OF VINCE GUARALDI (1996), PLAINS (1999), which was inspired by his Eastern Montana upbringing, NIGHT DIVIDES THE DAY - THE MUSIC OF THE DOORS (2002), MONTANA-A LOVE STORY (2004) and GULF COAST BLUES & IMPRESSIONS-A HURRICANE RELIEF BENEFIT (2006). His most recent recording are LOVE WILL COME - THE MUSIC OF VINCE GUARALDI VOL 2 (2010), and GULF COAST BLUES & IMPRESSIONS 2-A LOUISIANA WETLANDS BENEFIT (2012).
In 2001 George released REMEMBRANCE - A MEMORIAL BENEFIT, a seven song EP of piano, guitar and harmonica solos, to benefit those affected by 9/11.  He has also worked with the late George Levenson of Informed Democracy (www.informeddemocracy.com) on three projects: a solo guitar soundtrack for SADAKO AND THE THOUSAND PAPER CRANES, and soundtracks of piano, guitar and, harmonica solos for PUMPKIN CIRCLE, and BREAD COMES TO LIFE. In addition, he has recorded the solo piano soundtrack for the children’s story THE VELVETEEN RABBIT for Rabbit Ears Productions. 	

George is presently concentrating mainly on live performances, and most of the time he is touring playing solo piano concerts (the Summer Show or the Winter Show), solo guitar concerts, solo harmonica concerts, and solo piano dances (with R&B and slow dance songs). 

He is currently most inspired by the great New Orleans R&B pianists Henry Butler, James Booker, Professor Longhair, Dr. John, and Jon Cleary, and he is also working on interpreting pieces on solo piano by his favorite composers, including Vince Guaraldi, Professor Longhair, and the Doors, as well as Sam Cooke, Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Randy Newman, Curtis Mayfield, Laura Nyro, Al Kooper, Jimmy Wisner, Arthur Lee, Frank Zappa, Ralph Towner, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, John Coltrane, Milt Jackson, John Hartford, Oliver Schroer, Taj Mahal, Henry Butler, James Booker, Jon Cleary, Philip Aaberg and others, to play at concerts, and at his solo piano dances.

George is also working on solo guitar and is recording the masters of the Hawaiian Slack Key guitar for an extensive series of albums for Dancing Cat Records (www.dancingcat.com). Slack Key is the name for the beautiful solo fingerstyle guitar tradition, unique to Hawaii, which began in the early 1800s and predated the steel guitar by over half a century. 

He is also recording his main inspirations for his harmonica playing: Sam Hinton, Rick Epping, and Curt Bouterse.

Much like songbird Edith Piaf, Madeleine Peyroux spent her teenage years busking the busy streets of Paris. Just like the ‘little sparrow’, Madeleine befriended the city’s street musicians and made its Latin quarter her first performing stage. Years later, Peyroux would cite iconic Piaf as an influence on her music and record a rendition of the classic La Vie En Rose, soulfully capturing the tune’s romanticism and melancholy.
 
Born in Athens, Georgia in 1974, Madeleine “grew up in a house filled with music” and from an early age “instinctively realised music’s soothing power” but it was her teenage years in the French capital that turned the childhood notion into an all-consuming vocation for life.

Young Madeleine moved to Paris with her mother in 1987 following her parents divorce. “To soothe me during the upheaval”, she recalls, “I was given a guitar and took to playing in the streets almost immediately.”

Thirty years after her formative busking days Peyroux is the proud curator of nine beguiling albums and an accomplished performer with sell out worldwide tours under her belt. Her atmospheric version of Serge Gainsborough’s La Javanaise was used in the soundtrack of Oscar Winner The Shape of Water and her countless accolades
include the coveted BBC International Artist Of The Year honour.
 
Madeleine’s thirst for creative exploration is unfading and her willingness to face creative challenges remains as solid now as it was three decades ago.

With endearing passion and great curiosity the unstoppable genre-defying virtuoso continues her search for the good and examines life with the treasured William Congreve belief that Music has charms to soothe the savage beast.
 
Madeleine might attribute her success to “mostly luck” but to the industry and loyal fans alike, it is the immense talent and utter dedication to her craft that shines through.

No Sleep Records is an independent record label based in Huntington Beach, CA and home to some of underground music's best emerging talent. Damián Sánchez aka Leal. Comenzó a hacer rap allá por el año 2005. Sus inicios como Mc fueron en Mercado Negro, banda que él mismo formó, donde saco 2 maquetas de escasa calidad "Inicio del lado oscuro" (2005) y "La voz de los consagrados" (2006). Pero igualmente en esos años tuvo la oportunidad de presentarse en vivo en muchas ocasiones y en lugares muy variados. La banda luego pasaría a llamarse Beat Urbano en 2007. Después de acumular más experiencia sobre las tablas y de poder presentarse en diferentes medios de comunicación, llego el año 2010 y con el llego "El poder del beat" el primer disco oficial de la banda editado en forma independiente pero con una excelente producción y sonido. Gracias a este disco es que ha tenido la oportunidad de ganar un premio Graffiti a mejor album de hip hop/electrónica en el 2011. Ese mismo año Leal abandona la agrupación y se toma un año sabático musicalmente hablando. En el 2012 comienza nuevamente a componer nueva música, esta vez desarrollando una carrera como solista y también al mismo tiempo es parte de una banda llamada Versos Anónimos. Allí se destaca como Mc, junto a SH13 y a diversos músicos, fusionando rap con funk, con rock, con blues, con metal, etc. 
Su slogan de artista es "Vivir es expresión y mi expresión es el rap".
Al mismo tiempo es conductor de un programa de radio online llamado "El Hip Hop Nunca Para" tarea que desarrolla desde el 2011.
El 13/10/13 saca su primer disco solista titulado "Sayonara" que cuenta con 11 tracks, las bases son producidas por Leal, por Maniátiko (Fernando Lestrade), también cuenta con el gran aporte de Marcelo Borges componiendo con su guitarra en uno de los temas del album y cuenta con un excelente  "solo de guitarra" de Raúl Pelufo en otro de los tracks. En el disco aparecen mc's invitados como ser la gente de Charrúas Crew, Sh13 (en dos temas), Emeka, Washita, Hugo Sánchez y Chemo. Cabe destacar también la participación de la cantante Camila Bentos-Pereira en uno de los temas de este material, como también la actuación de la cantante Nole Ledesma en otra de las canciones, por último están los coros de Linda Claro que suenen también en otro track.
La mezcla estuvo a cargo de Leal en su mayoría, pero en otras ocasiones fue Maniátiko quién también aporto su conocimiento en esta área.
La masterización del disco estuvo a cargo de Bruno Cammá por El Clap estudio.
