A remix of the post-grunge band Candlebox's song, Surrendering from their Into The Sun album (2008).

This was mixed with Logic Pro X and a Soundcraft Signature 22 MTK analogue mixing board, straight mix with no auxes and minimal compression from plugin inserts in Logic Pro X.

"I had a lot of fun with this and went overboard by actually singing along with Steven. I wanted to give the whole thing a Floydian/Police vibe with a more concise structure while retaining the catchy hooks and overall energy of the song. It's grittier and my apologies to Elton for giving him a voice reminiscent of Darth Vader. He's accompanied by a an ok computer robot who adds a few extra items from TODAY'S shopping list. Fernando Perdomo is a singer-songwriter from Miami who has made a major impact with his debut CD, "Home is Wherever You Are". His single "Smile" is currently in the Global Digital top 100. The legendary Rickie Lee Jones recently took to her Twitter to tell her fans to check out his symphonic acoustic sound.

Since moving to Los Angeles in June, Perdomo has had monthly showcases at popular venues like The Mint. He is also co producing a variety of artists including the long awaited second album by the legendary Linda Perhacs.
