During a wrestling pratice, four Lucha Libre wrestlers were kidnapped by Martian Mega-3 pirates, brought to Saturn and frozen.

2008 : First contact. Saturn, Solar System.
The Mega-3 Martians establish contact with the observation satellite Go-Goal generation 9.3. After setting the defrosting program, the wrestlers are returned to Earth.

2009 : Earth, unreal world.
Shocked by the chaotic evolution of the 21st century, the four men take control of a run-down Mexican Music Store...

Welcome to the world of The Taikonauts and their Surf Music From Outer Space!

The Phantom Four from Amsterdam are widely considered to be the #1 instrumental group in The Netherlands. Their unique style combines music from all over the world (from South-American cumbia to Middle Eastern folk music) with the typical sound of Western surf guitars. This mix of different genres of world music has turned venues and festivals in Europe and the USA into exotic dance parties.

Biography:
Frontman Phantom Frank gained fame in The Netherlands and abroad during the 90's with his surfband The Treble Spankers. After that success he started the Phantom Four in 2005. After playing numerous festivals in Europe and the USA (Lowlands, Pinkpop, Paaspop, Tiki Oasis) the band has been praised as being one of the world's top instrumental groups. After several collaborating projects, including an album and tour with rapper Rudeboy, famous from hip-hop/rock pioneers Urban Dance Squad, The Phantom Four are back in 2018 with a new album called "Live at Pacific Parc". In 2020 the band will release new material which will explore even more global sounds, like afrobeat on "Marula" and oriental disco on "Yarana".

This album was recorded in Puebla, Mexico in in the second half of 2013 and released officially in 2014, contains 12 explosive tracks inspired by the sounds of the space and the instro rock mainly from the 60's also include a lot of samplers from science fiction from different movies. The sound reached in this album is unique in the history of the band, you can hear the hot sound of the amp bulbs and the firm line of bass and drums that incite to rock!!! Enjoy the wet and hot guitars!!
