◆『Bouquet』アルバム紹介

優しさと美しさの中に様々な情景を描き出す音楽家soejima takumaによるストーリー性溢れる秀逸デビューアルバム。

ピアノとストリングを中心に多くの楽器群とエレクトロニクスを配置し丁寧に作曲及びアレンジメントされた各曲は、Smanyをフィーチャーした静寂を奏でる「Coelacanth」からFerriをフィーチャーした壮大かつダイナミックな「Anemone」まで、大きさや色・形・香りなどあらゆる点で種類毎に異なる花に例え、多種多様な側面を個々の楽曲の中に反映しつつそれらが一つの作品としてまとまる様をイメージしたというアルバムタイトルの『Bouquet』に見事なまでに結実させている。

本作では前述のkilk recordsより2枚のアルバムを発表しているFerri、分解系レコーズより2枚のアルバムを発表しているSmanyに加え、声のみで作り上げるアヴァン・クラシック・ヴォイスという手法を中心に活動する本田ヨシ子、静かな中に秘めた熱くエモーショナルな歌声を持つ女性シンガーソングライター香月も参加、4名のボーカリストが5曲で歌声を披露しています。

アートワークは、福岡を拠点に人物画や風景画を中心に暗闇に浮かぶ光を描く現代美術の油絵画家として、国内外で高い評価を受け活躍する田中千智が担当しました。

◆プロフィール

soejima takuma
1990年生まれ。福岡県出身。17歳より作曲活動を開始。
活動を続けていくにつれフォーレやドビュッシー、グバイドゥーリナ、権代敦彦といった近・現代音楽に傾倒するようになり、自身の創作でも和声的なアプローチやミニマル性、アート性を強く意識するようになる。同時に池田亮司や渋谷慶一郎といった非楽音的なノイズミューシャンからも強い影響を受け、緻密に塗り重ねたグリッチノイズやサウンドコラージュを軸にピアノなどの生楽器を織り交ぜるスタイルを確立。
近年ではBunkai-Kei recordsより2014年9月にリリースされたsmanyの2ndアルバムにピアニストとして参加、翌月にはMercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYOへの楽曲提供、2015年5月には画家の矢野ミチルとの共同展示など活動は多岐に渡る。

A solo project by Ferri (vo. key. programing), An artist from Fukuoka. She is active around Tokyo now. With a laptop, she performs lyrics, composition, arrangement, the keyboard performance, and vocal by her own. She spins music which sounds like looking around slightly sad and missing scenery of your young time, and fuses the classic sound using the piano she got used to from childhood and a homesickness-like synthesizer sound.
