The Mongol Princess is a conceptual EP/soundtrack by Mood Exhibit. It tells a story of a young, beautiful, and kind princess that died tragically by disease at an early age. She spread love and hope throughout the land during the precious time she lived in her role. This audio tale of her life covers all emotions: joy, passion, pain, mourning, and remembrance.
This 4th release from Mood Exhibit is the most focused in theme and approach. No "electronic" sounds where used in this EP. All instruments including percussion within tracks were performed on keyboard using high quality sampled Asian sounds, with the accompaniment of traditional Mongol vocal recordings.

There was an increase usage of sampling on this collection of material, often with looped effects incorporated to add further density. With the blend of tribal and industrial elements remaining, it serves as an adventurous concoction of experimental rhythmic and ambient electronic music. It is an audio story of a young, beautiful, and kind princess that died tragically by disease at an early age. The music reflected her stages of life with emotion and textures of various ethnic and acoustic instruments. It remains my most passionate musical project.

This EP is a document of her return; in spirit form, as a legend. These tracks retain the same feel as the original, but with a more grandiose and mystical flavor, and mixed minor electronics.

She contributed her gorgeous ethereal vocals to music I had sent. Fellow producer Belial Pelegrim skillfully mixed her vocals perfectly to the material.

The result was the track “Eudiamonia”. This remains one of my favorite collaborations- the beauty and purity of INRGD’s vocals resonated deeply on this track, giving a near chilling emotive power.

By allowing this track to expose itself in reverse, I’ve found another level of emotion derived. Even more ghostly, almost that of a different realm altogether - yet equally intended to touch the soul.
