Blink Twice-
My previous project from mid 1990s through 2003. I released numerous cassettes and 4 CDs often described as "dark ambient industrial". An old amateur who loves synthesizers. 

Nowadays I use a computer but everything still sounds like "Boomer synth". Probably because I haven't learnt how to use the software the right way.
I still use "virtual" patch cables and step sequencers to make synth music they way I did 35 years ago.

Arturia V-collection , https://www.arturia.com/products/analog-classics/v-collection/overview#en , let me play with synths I couldn't afford back in the days.
Their clones of ARP 2600, Oberheim SEM and Moog modular are great.
Actually, I can spend hours playing with their Fairlight clone or Emulator 2 but I'm not good at using samples when making songs.

Full Bucket, https://www.fullbucket.de/music/vst.html, make some fantastic VST softsynths that I love. He has an impressive setup of Korg clones that I recommend. Try FB-3300, the best synth Korg has ever made.

Cherry Audio, https://cherryaudio.com/, is another source of old synth clones that sound fantastic. Good price and wonderful sound.
I mostly use their Oberheim 8 voice, which is 8 SEM stacked...

Most of the time I'm just playing around, having fun. If something sounds good enough to maybe enjoy others, I'll post it here.

Dive Index is a collaborative indie-electronic project based in Los Angeles lead by composer/producer Will Thomas and features a variety of guest vocalists and musicians. Associated with the independent label Neutral Music, Dive Index made its full-length album debut in 2007 with Mid/Air. In addition to Thomas, the catalog features vocalists Joseph Arthur, Mark Gardener (Ride) Natalie Walker, Merz, Ian Masters (Pale Saints), Simone White as well as musicians Kevin O'Donnell, C.J. Camerieri, Julia Kent, Maxim Moston and Alison Chesley. A remix collection, Collisions: The Mid/Air Remixes, features contributions from the Album Leaf, Tunng, Jason Bentley, Roger Eno, and Beat Pharmacy, among others. 

Waving At Airplanes, the fifth full-length, alternates between vocalists Natalie Walker and Merz. For this album Will set specific parameters to his production writing process sourcing almost everything (percussion included) from modular synthesizer. The only exceptions are piano, acoustic guitar, and occasional extraneous sounds – nail gun, jackhammer – that leaked into the studio.
The songs were mostly recorded in Will's studio near L.A.’s Laurel Canyon (with Merz contributing remotely from Joshua Tree), Waving At Airplanes was mastered by Mike Bozzi at Hollywood’s legendary Bernie Grundman Mastering. The record is at once an audiophile delight and, warmed by Walker’s finely-grained timbre and Merz’s emotive expressions, a reassuringly visceral expression.
