Logos is the musical identity of Asheville, NC, based composer and producer Jim Genaro. His music has been described as “narrative trance” because of the way it uses the sounds and textures of electronic dance music to tell a story, taking the listener on a musical journey. 

His new album, Coronis, will be released on July 9, 2022.

Drew Harris is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and engineer creating music of his own design. Based out of the suburbs of Chicago, IL he is writing the music he wants whenever and however the inspiration hits.

I see in iridescent harmonies a gentle way to puncture time itself.

From Neil Young to Bjork, my album's concept is attempting to make sense of mashing my favorite artists' styles into a ball and seeing what comes out, but with a very precise focus to quality control as chaotic and full as each track is given it's own liberty. 

My solo album is taking a much longer time developing than I had expected. After all, I only have myself and not a full band. I'm already 2 years in. All of these songs are purely in the Electronic phase. I'm using a computer to arrange and rearrange all of the melodies in my head. There's a lot of going back and changing a supposedly finished song months later.

When the album is finished it will feature live instruments: drums, bass, piano and guitar, more precise professional synthesis, as well as orchestral arrangements and of course vocals. It will also be mixed much better than this and with the absence of unwanted distortion which you'll hear occasionally on these demos.

For now, I will upload songs in one space on the net for my own encouragement on how much is getting done, as well as for your listening pleasure. Leave me a comment if you so desire.
