Pericopes+1 is an Italian trio project described as “crossover jazz”, with roots in European tradition, African-American music and improvisation, and an affinity for melody and compositional structure, mixed with other post-rock/prog/avantgarde/electronic influences.

Composer/Sound artist/performer, born 1980. Studied composition at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Bent Sorensen, Hans Abrahamsen & Niels Rosing-Schow. Studies abroad at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz with Beat Furrer. His music has been performed by several of the most prestigious ensembles with in contemporary music such as Ensemble Recherche, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Arditti String Quartet, London Sinfonietta, Oslo Sinfonietta, Trio POING & Stockholm Curious Chamber Players. Nicolai is one of the founders of the danish composer collective Dygong.

Pèter Kőszeghy, *1971 in Hungary, Balassagyarmat.

Kőszeghy studied composition with Paul-Heinz Dittrich and electronic music with Andre Bartetzki at the HfM "Hanns Eisler" Berlin. Since his diploma in 1999 he lives in Berlin as a free-lance composer. Many of his compositions were awarded with prizes and played at festivals as Ultraschall Berlin, Ensemblia Mönchengladbach, Randspiele Zepernick, Tongyoeng International Music Festival Korea and AdeVantgarde Munich. Interpreters of his compositions were the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra,
MusikFabrik NRW, Kammerensemble Neue Musik Berlin, Ensemble Zagros, Finland,
Ensemble Aleph, France and as soloists f.e. Camilla Hoitenga, Peter Veale.

As a composer Kőszeghy doesn’t belong to any kind of aesthetic group. His musical speech often has an exciting and offensive effect. The energy inside the music produced during the performance is the most important motive in his compositorial work, in which he wants to destroy the borders of conventions. Köszeghy’s intention of "plumbing the depths" of instrumental techniques by the virtuosity of his compositions never means the end in itself but always obeys concepts of overriding importance which support the energies in his works. Many of Köszeghy’s compositions are inspired by mythology: the Greek antiquity is as important as the ancient Hungarian "Shaman"-Wisdom, with which he goes back to his own roots in the Hungarian culture.

Elise Boulanger is a sweet darkness wrapped in orchestral instrumentation. Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, this operatically trained Orchestral-Pop artist completely captivates audiences with her haunting avalanche of a voice. This July she releases her first remix with The Golden Age of Wrestling (Jeff Cancade of DEVOURS). It recreates her self-produced track, “Spirit Seekers” into dewy glambience for our summer sensuality.

What began as a theme song for a haunted docu-series morphs into a nostalgic ride through the sparkling touch of TGAW. Retro synths carry Boulanger's airy voice through a haze of Stranger Things. It's dark and uplifting all at once while constantly edging to break out into a banger. Both artists grew up on the Island but now live in Vancouver which brought Boulanger to connect with Cancade. 

When not electrifying her sound, the bilingual Boulanger is advocating for the environment and creating cinematic dreamscapes atop strings, piano, drums and ukulele. Her angelic yet raw dramatic artistry is reminiscent of Kate Bush. She is both bold and beautiful. Boulanger has performed for some of Western Canada’s largest events including Canada Day Victoria and composes for film and TV.

“Spirit Seekers” (2024) showcases an electronic entrance for Boulanger. This composition is for the seven part docuseries Spirit Seekers that shares the rumoured ghost stories of locations around Vancouver Island. What’s more is Director and Medium Paula DeMontigny's special ability to sense and communicate with the Spirits who roamed the areas.
Performing for over 15 years, she began touring in 2021 to Western and Eastern Canada as well as Vancouver Island and the Kootenays as she continues to grow in the Canadian market. Boulanger is sonically reminiscent of Kate Bush with her angelic yet raw dramatic artistry and has been deemed as "definitely one to watch" by the Times Colonist. Her actions are bold and beautiful as she takes advantage of the stage to teach audiences how to adapt to climate change. 


She has played shows with Carmanah, Tanika Charles and Etienne Fletcher. Notable performances include Canada Day Victoria (2023), the Honda Celebration of Lights (2022) and numerous festivals, concert series and theatres including Jeux Franco-Canadiens du Nord et de l'Ouest (2023), Filberg Festival (2022), the Banff Gondola (2022), the Tidemark Theatre (2021,2023), Port Theatre (2021), Evergreen Cultural Centre (2023) and Orange Day in the Bay with Snaw-Naw-As First Nation (2022).

A smorgasbord of experimental music and noise, trash can rock and improvised skronk, soundtracks and sleazy listening, mangled tapes and dirty synths, organ ditties and jungle jazz, field recordings and found sound -- interlaced with bizarre public service announcements and corny commercials.
