An old beat that has lived many lives, this time with the magic touch of the incomparable Aurélien Tomasi. This time it was the bed for an ode to my kid. Nassila wrote a heartfelt melody in Arabic and it sings about a little girl (his name is Saya and she didn’t realize, my kid is a boy so it’s very 2023), and it’s nice to have a song with my kid’s name ringing through the speakers.

The album ¨This is Electropical¨ is an all star album of a careful selection of producers, mostly from Latin America, who seek to explore a diverse range of Afro-Latin electronic rhythms, with a tropical feel, a psychedelic touch and of course pointed to the dancefloor. An album that proposes exploration and innovation in these genres, without fear of “making mistakes” or getting lost in the unknown.


Within the sound range of the album, rhythms such as electronic dembow, digital cumbia, downtempo, touches of folktronica, afro house and of course a lot of tropical psychedelia stand out. An album full of avant-garde that we invite you to listen to carefully, as it has been created looking to the future and without necessarily seeking to please the already saturated market of electronic music today, but rather to invite its audience to venture to discover a universe full of colors, ideas and unexpected rhythms, several of which could well be part of the electronic music of the future.

"Este proyecto y EP lo comencé a desarrollar hace algunos años en el Sur de Brasil, y lo terminé en Entre Ríos, Argentina. Con mucho movimiento y cambios en el medio, logré disfrutar del proceso y el resultado.

Xamãdança es mi conexión y aprendizaje con la Tierra, mi experiencia directa con las energías de la naturaleza y sus ciclos. Mi simbiosis con el ecosistema, como criatura bípeda terrestre que soy, en constante proceso de crecimiento.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

They dressed on the beach and climbed up the steep trail with David carrying the bag with the beach things to where the old car was waiting in the pine woods. "I'm sorry," David said. He turned at the door of the storeroom and walked out and then down to his work room at the end of the hotel. Inside the room he opened the big Vuitton suitcase. The pile of cahiers that the stories had been written in was gone. Socko is a beacon of hope in a dark warehouse. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks will help you find your way home. Mujia & Tajo, Majnoon and Chomba are taking the bond out of the acid.
