Hey peeps,

here's my 3-hour closing set at ORPHIC. This was a really special one for me as I've been going to the Orphic parties quite a bit. From the first time visiting I wanted to play here. The crowd and vibe at these parties is zero to none, and the organisation is a lovely group of people with a very community-based mindset. 

I wanted to do something special, and I think you can hear that in this set. It's a very hypnotic and heavy set, ranging from very emotive to heavy dark tracks, with a lot of layering going on. There's a few small moments that are slightly messy as I was constantly playing with multiple decks at once, but that makes it human ;). The recording cut out at 2:50:00, so I edited the last few tracks in to ensure a safe landing after 3 hours. 

Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did playing this.

The Groningen-based artist and no stranger to the collective has a keen ear for the ominous side of electronic music. With constant layering, he creates an atmosphere in which you easily get hooked to his rhythm. Taking inspiration from labels such as Mord, Dynamic Reflection, and PoleGroup, he knows how to set the tone with a raw edge.

With this mix, he displays a droning take on his sound, reflecting his passion for hefty electronics.
