Ross Go Pecoe - Catch The Funky Beat

Black Light Disco took over the the myhouseradio.fm airwaves again with a special take-over show to tickle your fancy. 

Last week's show was a special double header takeover event featuring ‘Edit Presents’ stalwarts Faz and Grant Holmes. 

First up is Faz (aka Steve Farrell) with a set bubbling with funky riffs and disco goodness. A DJ since 1995,  Faz is a resident DJ for Edit Presents in Manchester and can be found popping up on various flyers for events around the North West of England. Faz’s style fits perfectly with BLD, and we’ve been honoured to have played alongside him at some of our recent BLD events. 

Taking over for the second hour is Grant Holmes. When not on ‘Edit Presents’ and ‘Retro’ duties Grant has played at various nights and festivals such as Alfresco Festival Kent, The Beat Herder Festival Clitheroe, Glitter Babe, Gorilla and The Refuge in Manchester, La Discotheque at Manchester’s Albert Hall and The Day and Headroom in Burnley to name but a few.  Grant’s early teenage years (luckily) coincided with the boom of the illegal Blackburn Warehouse Parties and Acid House music explosion in the UK, and this is where his love of house music was forged. 

We’re delighted to have these two onboard for this BLD special, and know you’re going to love what these genuinely boss pair of lads have in store for you.
