Flowers for a Lonely Soul laat zich inspireren door een brede keur aan genres; van old school Hip Hop tot breekbare liedjes van singer-songwriters. Nico en Oscar gaan te werk als producers en zetten met samples, drumcomputers, synthesizers, een akoestische en een elektrische gitaar een fris en toegankelijk popgeluid neer.
