Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.

Dedication, commitment, passion . Those elements have been following Nick since he started his journey into the world of electronic music about 15 years ago. 
	Throughout his residency at the iconic club Venue in his hometown Athens, it was Nick’s combination of professionalism & genuine passion to the underground house movement, which enabled him to make his mark as a warm up dj for some of the biggest names in dance music. Regardless he found himself sharing decks with his idols in a fairly young age, he managed to contain his enthusiasm and deliver the dance-floor ready for the main guest to take over. 
	The quality of his selection skills got the attention from some of the heavy weights of the scene like Nick Warren; who named Nick Varon "the most underrated DJ in the world”, in DjMag’s Top 100. But it was Hernán Cattaneo who was mostly captivated by his well compiled forward thinking sets. The South American legend initially invited Nick on his Greek Tours and long behold a partnership of music & talent - that still flourishes today - was created. Their collaboration has taken off with huge success in 3 continents (Europe / America / Asia). Up to now, the duo has accomplished 60 shows together, a number that barely represents the growing musical partnership but mostly a great friendship. 
	His international career keeps growing with shows from Bali to Amsterdam & from New York to Tokyo, while he has been also giving remarkable production signs. 
As a frequent now at the Sudbeat imprint and with an increasing amount of releases, builds an equally promising future on the production side as well. 
	Always loyal to the melodic - atmospheric elements - but with a continuous modernisation along with his ability to blend endless styles of underground house music has created his own signature sound. A unique style, which got him playing with two generations Legends; such as Sasha, John Digweed, Sven Vath, Dubfire, Solomun ... and thats truly a shortlist. 
	With shows in some of the most iconic venues around the world such as Crobar & Pacha in New York City, Mansion in Miami, legendary festivals such as Creamfields in Buenos Aires or the BPM and with a constant presence in Off Sonar events - in his current base in Barcelona - or in ADE, he continues to deliver well structured intriguing sets making his worldwide fan base wider and even more faithful.

Hicky & Kalo are a DJ and producer duo from Montreal, Canada. Classically trained and both graduates in electronic music from the University of Montreal, the pair have built a strong reputation for their distinct musical identity, dedication to the scene, and deep, melodic sound. As residents of the iconic Stereo Montreal (@stereonightclub) and founders of Plaisirs Sonores Records (@plaisirssonoresrecords), they are considered part of the new wave shaping the future of the global underground melodic scene.

As accomplished producers, their music has been released on top-tier labels such as Berlin’s Watergate Records, Brazil's Warung Recordings, Renaissance Recordings, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, When We Dip Records, Replug Records by Cid Inc, and their own Plaisirs Sonores Records. Their productions have attracted remixes from respected artists including Cristoph, Rodriguez Jr., Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Denis Horvat, Soul Button, Mihai Popoviciu, Volen Sentir, Makebo, and Karmon.

Through their imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records, the duo has collaborated with and signed a roster of international talent including Hernan Cattaneo, Rodriguez Jr., Nick Warren, Armen Miran, Cristoph, D-Nox, Soul Button, Cid Inc, Budakid, Sahar Z, Julian Wassermann, Petar Dundov, Dmitry Molosh, and many more.

In late 2023, they reached a major milestone with their track ‘Voyage’ — a collaboration with Hernan Cattaneo — which claimed the #1 spot on Beatport’s Progressive House chart. Most recently in 2025, they were nominated for a Juno Award for Underground Dance Single of the Year for ‘Distant Memories’.

Their career has taken them across Canada and around the globe, with performances in countries such as Australia, Argentina, Colombia, France, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Croatia, Sri Lanka, and St-Martin, where they’ve shared their signature sound on some of the most respected stages in the international electronic music scene.

Since 2009, Roy Rosenfeld has been sharpening his artistic skills in electronic music, effortlessly blending diverse styles and genres of House music. Each of his creations showcases the consistently unique and recognizable sound that defines Roy Rosenfeld.

Starting out as a beginner DJ, he began his career as a resident DJ in a dance bar. He later expanded his reach, performing at larger venues like festivals and underground clubs in major cities. His passion for music and musical abilities quickly earned him recognition and a dedicated global following.

Roy Rosenfeld has established a successful music career by collaborating with several leading record labels in the House music industry. He has released tracks on "All Day I Dream" by Lee Burridge, including "Lift of Love”, "Honey”, "Rumbala”, and "Simi”, to name a few. He has also published his music on Guy J’s "Lost & Found" Records, where one can find "Phase" and "Force Major" EPs, among others. In addition, Roy has released well-known musical works under Guy Gerber's imprint "Rumors," including the track "No Drama" and a remix to “Rainchecks In Montreal” by the label boss. His back catalog includes music on Sebastien Leger's label "Lost Miracle," such as “Toco/Sanga Dance”, “Milongi”, "Hypnosa De La Rosa" and "Tuti" EPs, which feature collaborations with Sebastien himself, including the tracks "Creme" and "Cherry On Top," both have become instant classics.

Throughout his career, Roy has created several iconic works, including “Epika”, a collaboration with Guy Mantzur, released on the legendary “Kompakt” Records and regarded as one of the greatest anthems of 2015. "The Biggest Heart," released on Lee Burridge's label "TRYBESof" in 2019, took some dance floors by storm, capturing hearts globally, and became a standout anthem of that year's “Burning Man”. To kick off 2023 with a bang, Roy released "Kala" on the highly regarded label "VOD." The track received immediate support from major industry figures like Solomun, Keinemusik, and Adriatique and quickly climbed to the top of Beatport's charts, receiving worldwide recognition and airplay.

Having many top hits in the sales charts, winning contests and awards, and collaborating with some of the most respected artists, had all gained Roy massive recognition and support from major superstars, such as Solomun, Black Coffee, Dixon, Keinemusik, Lee Burridge, Guy Gerber, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Michael Mayer, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Luciano, Stephan Bodzin, Joris Voorn and many others. The list even goes on to Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Deadmau5, and Groove Armada.

In addition to his production accomplishments, Roy successfully balances a hectic DJ schedule. In 2018, there was a global increase in demand for his unique sound, resulting in multiple participations in several “All Day I Dream"
events in Ibiza, Mykonos, and Dubai. This was followed by a huge interest in the US. He then performed at different massive festivals including Tomorrowland in Belgium, Zamna in Tulum, We Are Lost in Buenos Aires and Amsterdam, All Day I Dream in the US, Warm Up in London, Return to Rio in Sydney, Warung in Brazil, Marvellous Island in Paris, and more.

In early 2020 Roy started his new events production called “No Drama”, a small but highly successful dance-music event launched in Tel Aviv. Despite its modest size, the event attracts a dedicated crowd of music lovers and dance enthusiasts, who come together to enjoy a day & night of a musical journey. With a lineup of top local and international DJs, “No Drama” has quickly established itself as one of the hottest dance-music events in the city, known for its relaxed and fun atmosphere, great music, eye-catching decorations, and fantastic crowd.

Roy's fervor for music and unwavering ambition have established him as a distinguished figure in the music industry. He is constantly pushing the boundaries of house music and stirring the hearts of others with his unique sound. Whether he is commanding the stage at a packed venue or honing his skills in the studio, Roy remains steadfast in his dedication to his craft and bringing joy to others through his music.
