Ahoy! Naarm queer music identity and raconteur Alex Morris delivers another slam-dunk, chuggy, sexy and hypnotic dance set, Monday 4 November 2024 for The Love Boat: Episode 2! 

Let’s set the scene: The Love Boat was originally conceived as a pre-Atlantis Cruise circuit-style party in February 2024, held the evening before Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady set sail from Melbourne to Sydney. The journey followed an outrageously convoluted route, designed to deliver a leisurely four-night queer adventure on the high seas - complete with less risk of piracy, sea shanties, or the confiscation of contraband 

Unlike the cruise itself, The Love Boat delivered dirty, filthy techno alongside the lighter, high-energy, dance-focused house music that predominates on queer cruises. Naturally, when things get sultry on The Love Boat, we’re obliged to accommodate - and indeed encourage - ditching your speedos and fooling around! Safely and consensually, of course. Floaties and water wings available on request. And remember: be prepared to get wet!

Notwithstanding that the Resilient Lady has left Australian waters for now, we thought: why not throw the party again anyway?! The Love Boat was a fabulous idea in February and proved a smash (or should we say splash?) again in November. Episode 2 featured DJs @itsargonaut and @pseudo-ku, and with Alex Morris in the lineup, delivered a truly exceptional dance and party experience, showcasing some of Naarm’s finest EDM talent

Brixx also headlined for BUFF at ADAM, The Official Folsom Europe Opening Party in September last year giving us a similarly seductive and tactile closing set to a sold-out house

Underpinned by darkness, Brixx's music explores the human condition, gender, and sexuality

Brixx also released her second SYNTHICIDE EP The Psychic Tapes in March this year. These two new tracks are a return to her electro-EBM roots: severe and cutting for the dancefloor but with a delicate touch. An absolute must for the electronic dance music enthisiast
