Sangoma Records presents the long-awaited, full-length debut album by Cyk from Brazil, who is also an integral part of the project Alchemy Circle releasing their smashing debut album with Sangoma back in 2019. For this album, Cyk drew inspiration from ancient tales and rituals that he encountered, infusing them with his distinctive take on the psytrance sound. The tracks comprise elements like traditional instruments, tribal rhythms, and enchanting melodies, creating a sonic landscape that immerses listeners in the essence of traditional knowledge and spirituality. In the context of this album, "Lore" delves into the rich tapestry of Brazilian folklore and traditional culture exploring themes that are deeply rooted in history and mythology. Deep within the heart of the old wicked forest, there lived a small tribe known as the Groovers. This tribe was no ordinary group; they were a vibrant and eclectic community of musicians. Their music was their life, their language, and their magic. Their rhythms echoed through the ancient trees, and their melodies wove spells that kept their homeland safe from the outside world.

After all these years, they had gathered to share the tale of their tribe – a story that had remained untold for generations: the "Tick Tack Tales."

Nicolas Marcato, es originario de Italia y nace en 1995. Es la mente detrás de estos proyectos. Su amor por la música comenzó en su infancia gracias a su madre que solía cantar en muchas bandas de liscio. En los primeros días tuvo sus primeras experiencias musicales como cantante, con tambores y otros instrumentos. Luego durante la escuela secundaria, comenzó a estudiar guitarra y teoría musical en la Experience Music Academy, cerca de Padua. En 2013/2014 se puso en contacto con el mundo de la música Trance y después de participar en algunas fiestas, se enamoró de él y le dio la oportunidad de desarrollarse como persona y alma.

Ahora comparte su música y toca en todo el mundo. Sus creaciones tienen influencias de funk, jazz y blues incluyendo sonidos de viento, cuerdas, teclado y percusiones creando una fusión increíble con sonidos psicodélicos nocturnos del bosque para sacudir tu cuerpo y alma.

Nicolas Marcato, originally from Italy, was born in 1995. He is the mind behind these projects. His love for music began in his childhood thanks to his mother who used to sing in many bands of liscio. In the early days he had his first musical experiences as a singer, with drums and other instruments. Then during high school, he began studying guitar and music theory at the Experience Music Academy, near Padua. In 2013/2014 he got in touch with the world of Trance music and after participating in some parties, he fell in love with him and gave him the opportunity to develop as a person and soul.

Now he shares his music and plays all over the world. His creations have influences of funk, jazz and blues including wind sounds, strings, keyboard and percussions creating an incredible fusion with nocturnal psychedelic sounds of the forest to shake your body and soul.
