I'm back in Berlin now and it's hard to put my current feelings into words. I will need a little more time to process the impressions of the last three weeks completely. While writing these lines, I have to take a deep breath again and again, because so many memories come up. A project which is so close to our hearts, to experience from beginning to end and to be a part of it, cannot be described with simple gratitude. It is much more. When I joined this community three years ago, I couldn't have imagined the impact it would have on my consciousness at some point. Now I can say that I really appreciate every single encounter. Interpersonal relationships are exactly what will get you ahead in your life. For me, this realization is not really something new, but after this time with you, I became more than aware of it. A very special thank you goes out to Tobi, carsten and wolfi. I am deeply impressed by your basic attitude and the intensity with which you do all this.
Just before my set at the Festival North in summer, I was at a point where I thought about giving up djing. But after that I got such overwhelming feedback which gave me strength to go on. I was so often asked why I didn't record it. This year, the feedback was even more intense. I've been a DJ for almost 10 years now and I'm still learning. I'm really not the best when it comes to technical skills. But my own motivation and claim from Djing is also a completely different approach. I am very proud that so many of you realize why I do it the way I do it. I always play intuitively and don't prepare anything. I was told shortly before my set on Saturday morning that I can only play about 90min, which is usually much too short for me. I really wanted to put my focus on techno this time. In the middle of my set, I was told to keep going, so I decided to play as much timeless music as I could. Here is the result. Thank you for dancing. <3
