[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the sixtieth-third release of Launch Records. This time we have a new track by Rivus and LauraBrown, called ‘In My Memory’.

The song starts immediately with a guitar play. After a while, the beautiful vocal of LauraBrown is added. Hereby you hear a second vocal layer in the background. Hereby a second guitar is playing in the background as well. Hereby the vocal and guitar play is supported by some atmospheric background sounds and a baseline. Hereinafter a drum loop is added. As soon as this drum loop gets an uplifting rhythm, the build upstarts.

When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a chill track with deep house and trap elements in it. In this drop, you hear the same chords which were used at the beginning of the track but now they have a different rhythm. Hereby added is the beautiful vocal of LauraBrown. To give more body to the drop, a baseline is added in the background which has a slightly different rhythm as the chords and melody line. To give more variation to the drop a drum is added in the background as well. Hereby all sounds which are used are self-designed.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a release with Rivus and a second release together with LauraBrown who both have developed a really unique vibe in his tracks. This track is a perfect way to close 2020 with.
