A cup of spiced egg nog in my hand
Everything was feeling alright.
And then I heard something rustling
Inside the Christmas tree
And I saw a furry tail
Waving back at me.

And then it turned around and stared at me
With two little yellow eyes
And I realized I was having
A special Christmas surprise
