musically speaking, a lot of flavors covered: live jams, jazz fusion, funk, house, techno, classic rock anthems, punk, alternative, experimental, ambient, lo-fi, hip-hop, folk, singer-songwriter—every groove under the sun welcome.

our musical handshakes reached out from argentina to germany, poland, italy, japan, and switzerland.

languages dropped in the mix: english and german

collaboration languages: spanish, german, polish, japanese, english, and of course, swiss german

the playlist keeps the chronological drop order more or less, track one is already the exception of the rule - this song sums up this month of August in turmoil quite well, for me at least.

The term “Play Explosion” effectively encapsulates that phenomenon where, after a lull following the initial drop and core fan engagement, the platform’s algorithm suddenly propels the track into much higher play counts—likely due to being recommended to larger swathes of new, casual, or unsubscribed listeners.

Ever witnessed your track go from a handful of loyal supporters to a sudden avalanche of daily plays? That’s what inspired the “Play Explosion – ALGO LA LA Land” playlist drop. "Ubuntu tanzt im himmelwind / alternate take", this track wrapped in a playlist is a reflection on those wild moments every independent artist hopes for—the sudden, unexplained surge in plays when the algorithm decides your song is ready to meet the world.
