As she liked to define herself, Rosa Balistreri was an activist who held rallies in the squares of small sicilian towns, with a guitar. She hated to define herself as a singer and yet, more than 35 years after her death, her powerful and incredible voice continues to conquer anyone who listens to her. To those who understand her lyrics in dialect, Rosa Balistreri transmits all the explosive strength of sicilian women forced to suffer domestic violence. In a past that, unfortunately, is never behind us. As if having to answer a call from my own land (I was born and lived a short distance from where Rosa Balistreri lived) a dreamy and fairytale re-edition of "A Curuna" (the crown) was created. This is a song enriched with peculiarities loved by the historical music of southern Italy (such as the Jaw Harp, the accordion and syncopated or off-beat percussions). Finally I mentioned the Triskelion (present on artifacts in Sicily even before the arrival of the Greeks) to represent the ancient roots of the Sicilian people, of which I am also a part.

What's more important: empathy or the cash? "North Dallas Blues" is a modern-day blues, a unique fusion of elegant chamber pop and raw, narrative hip-hop that explores the universal choice between survival and the soul.

This song was born from a place of deep respect. It was inspired by the powerful story and authentic voice of the incredible North Dallas artist, Kartel Don. We see this as an artistic dialogue, an attempt to bridge two different worlds with one shared human story.

This is from my EP SUPERNOVA. 123 BPM. 3m59s. The main genres are Alternative rock / Indie rock / J-ROCK. The moods are Energetic / Catchy / Groovy. I wrote this rock 'n' roll song alone when I was 18 and recorded it now alone in my room with a guitar, bass, mic and PC. With Oasis reunion, I decided to record this song. At times, a strange sense of déjà-vu lingers, a gentle murmur of something once felt, just out of reach. The title track, Above The Bridge, is built upon a field recording made under a bridge in Wrocław, Poland. However, the crow featured in this track is not the same as the one in the artwork. The latter is a friend of my family, we feed her from time to time when we walk our dog, Kudzi.
