musically speaking, a lot of flavors covered: live jams, jazz fusion, funk, house, techno, classic rock anthems, punk, alternative, experimental, ambient, lo-fi, hip-hop, folk, singer-songwriter—every groove under the sun welcome.

our musical handshakes reached out from argentina to germany, poland, italy, japan, and switzerland.

languages dropped in the mix: english and german

collaboration languages: spanish, german, polish, japanese, english, and of course, swiss german

the playlist keeps the chronological drop order more or less, track one is already the exception of the rule - this song sums up this month of August in turmoil quite well, for me at least.

We started raising Frogs recently. I had never realized that the only parts of Earth Frogs haven't carved out a niche is the salty seas. They are prolific everywhere else apparently! Fascinating... From arctic frogs to desert frogs of Namibia... Everywhere but the Sea.. A bit like us except we can't almost fully freeze and relight another season like frogs can. A frog pumps glucose through its veins to achieve this. Glucose has a lower freezing temperature then water allowing this feature be a tool for their survival in some very very cold climates

I think here we are starting to see a type of music that AI can never ever ever EVER achieve. Music that is lasered by an artist to another human being. AI can't write that because it has to be born from musical love and love for human beings. AI can only ever guess how we love each other! I know! Even if AI were tomwrite lyrics for me and guess... It never got felt in the first place so it's meaningless and souless. This got felt and soon it will be received and that's beautiful and that's art and that's official real life intelligence. Keep human art alive with love... That's what we do... Combine that love with what we connect most too... AI doesn't know what the combination of what I and Fr0ggy5 love and what that shared love might deliver in the few moments of a song. It hasn't had our experiences and hasn't felt what we have felt in all those moments combined. Only our brains did that. Again, it can guess the feelings, it can try and help you feel some random feelings about a subject but it can't create the feelings. Only we can do that and that takes intelligence like a FROG has. Only love and zero hate and nothing fake...

This creative process has been spread over months. It includes lightning bolts of real from several of our interactions where we taught each other things chatting and sharing our real music. Another mutual friend of ours, Marcin Kulik and I had a what's app chat that seeded the title and the dimension of the ideas... This is incomparable to anything AI can ever achieve and it highlights how you are not an artist if you use it for making music. Art is best when it reflects the actual life of people and to do that properly you need to experience it to pen it and play it. The last time I checked AI isn't scanning your experiences in your head yet so your result will always be fake guessery... Not Art. Even if it could scan your thoughts... once the ideas leave you it's not you interpreting it anymore so again even at that it can't get close to human ingenuity with evolving creativity by skill! This is art and I'll keep saying it until people realise the difference and stop insulting the world of art and how it evolved our culture and society

Added gallop like bass and continued developing the vox line. Very strange singing about this mountain... It's not that the mountain makes me emotional but the moments growing up that it was the backdrop for are just so deep

This is about the mountain I grew up on the side of as a kid, Carraig Una (Carrigoona) in the Wicklow/Dublin mountains, Ireland. A powerful place. My brother and I used to walk the hills most days rolling down the ferns and making little mini avalanches in the rocky patches. There are amazing views of the Wicklow mountains and Irish coastline around Bray and Dublin bay looking east. Such amazing memories and so lucky to have grown up in a place like this. Mountain man. Schweeeeeet The view from Carraig Una's peak is the banner on my profile. Bray is the town you can see and Dublin bay is off to the left 🪉

Another thing to note is... This is barely even classified as a mountain. It's 172m at peak and you'd be hard pushed to find it in a list of Mountains when researching it. For me though it's the best mountain in the world and the most powerful one ever. I'm a boy again when I drive past it and now I'm a boy again every time I open SoundCloud and see this gem haha. The mountain everyone in the area would connect to most is off to the left and towers above Carraig Una, It's called The Sugar Loaf. Another rock beast and Caraig Una if effectively a shoulder of that larger mountain... But Sugar Daddy ain't got nothing on our Carraig Una. Our house shared a name with the mountain too 🏡⛰️

I think this is why I'm not really drawn to city life. I'm much too sperated from nature and it feels weird. I have vivid memories of coming home from holidays and the whole drive home from the airport being alien... Then appeared the mountain! Home

Thinking about these mountains in the light of their age of 400 million years. That's 350 million more then the Himalayas. That's lots of thinking time for a mountain getting rained on and weathered for its entire existence. I'd say it has some stories to tell us. Got of a few off him and he is quite the Druid ⛰️🐕

We moved from here to Bray a few kilometers away. We brought our dog Diego to the new house and he dug his way out of the new garden and went home. We found him a day later back on the mountain. We agreed with our old neighbours that they would feed him and he lived out his days as king of Carraig Una. Diego Maradogga 🫶🏽🔆

For the past 9 years, Talal Chaudhry, known to his friends and fans as 'Lost Boy' has been meticulously honing his skills as a DJ-Producer. His musical dexterity and originality is something to marvel, as he seamlessly mixes from one track to another, creating a unique journey for his listeners. 

Born and raised in Pakistan, Talal moved to Toronto in 2006. After attending a few parties, it became clear that a life surrounded by music was his calling. When my daughter was 5 she had a bad cold that kept her from attending school. I stayed home to watch her. I gave her a good dose of cold medicine and put her to bed. Assuming she’d be sleeping for a while I started playing with a new synth plug-in. While playing back a simple riff I had recorded I was surprised to hear a little voice beside me talking about a magical cat in time with the music. I asked her if she could do it again and handed her the talkback mic. I hit record and captured this free-association improvisation which could only come from the mind of a 5-year old.
